Big 5 Global 2026, four trade days
Monday starts at 11:00 and Thursday ends at 17:00, so a flat four-day routine does not work. Read the public options first: the Metro two minutes from the halls, taxis, buses and car parks. A pre-booked vehicle is for the group that wants its own clock.

Dates, hours and who can attend
The organiser, dmg events, lists Big 5 Global for Monday 23 to Thursday 26 November 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on Sheikh Zayed Road. It is an industry exhibition for construction and urban-development professionals: contractors, consultants, engineers, architects, developers, facilities managers and digital specialists.
The hours are not the same every day, and some third-party listings get them wrong. We use the organiser’s own four lines.
| Day | Date | Opening hours |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 23 November | 11:00 to 18:00 |
| Tuesday | 24 November | 10:00 to 18:00 |
| Wednesday | 25 November | 10:00 to 18:00 |
| Thursday | 26 November | 10:00 to 17:00 |
Visitors need a ticket, and the organiser says only people aged 21 and over are admitted, even with a ticket. That matters if you are travelling with a younger colleague. Register on the organiser’s own site. We do not sell tickets, passes, badges or exhibitor space, and the final times are on the organiser’s website.

This is what the organiser’s travel page says, and for one person with a lanyard it is usually enough.
- Metro: the organiser highly recommends it. World Trade Centre station is on the Red Line, and the organiser puts the venue two minutes from the station. Show days are Monday to Thursday. We found no late-night hours for the show, so check the RTA timetable page for your day.
- Ride-hailing: the organiser lists Careem as its transport partner and offers its attendees a deal through that app. Terms and codes are on the organiser’s page, so we do not repeat them.
- Taxi: the organiser says Dubai taxis are available outside the venue at all times and run on the meter.
- Bus: routes 27 and 29 each stop outside the Novotel hotel, next to the Convention Gate entrance, according to the organiser.
- Car: several car parks serve the venue, and the organiser links a parking map. We give no fees.
Our general DWTC event transport page explains how the venue’s Metro, parking and taxi points work across the year.
Hotel areas and the airport
Downtown, Business Bay and DIFC are the nearest places to stay. The ranges below are approximate, from OpenStreetMap routing with no traffic. Google Maps on the day will differ, and you should allow more on event days.
| From | To DWTC, about |
|---|---|
| Downtown Dubai | 5 to 10 minutes |
| Business Bay | about 10 minutes |
| Dubai Airport Terminal 3 | 10 to 15 minutes |
| Deira | 10 to 15 minutes |
| Dubai Marina and JBR | 20 to 25 minutes |
| Palm Jumeirah | 25 to 30 minutes |
| Sharjah city | 20 to 25 minutes |
| Al Maktoum airport (DWC) | 45 to 55 minutes |
Our hotel drive times guide covers other areas, and the Downtown, Business Bay and DIFC guide for another DWTC show applies here too, because the venue is the same. If you land at Dubai Airport, the airport to hotel guide sets out the public options before any private one.
A plan that fits Monday and Thursday
Monday opens at 11:00. There is no reason to leave a Downtown hotel at 07:30, and for a visitor who lands on Sunday night it gives a slower first morning. Thursday closes at 17:00, which suits an evening flight, but only if you leave the halls with time in hand. Tuesday and Wednesday are the full days, 10:00 to 18:00.
Plan around the days you actually need. A buyer might attend Monday afternoon, spend Tuesday on meetings, and keep Wednesday for a site visit. A contractor’s team that flies in for two days is a different case from a delegation staying all four. Write down which days matter before you book anything.
The organiser also runs three summits inside the week, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We could not find their hours or rooms, so check the organiser’s programme before you plan a day around one.
Where a private vehicle fits
We are Dubai Bus Services. We are not the organiser’s transport partner, and the service below is separate from the organiser’s offers and from the public network. It is private, pre-booked group transport on your own timing.
A vehicle suits a group that wants one driver for the week, a pick-up time set by its own diary and the same faces each day. That could be a design team of five that lands together, a contractor’s site party of twelve, or colleagues who want one meet-and-greet at the airport and one drop at the hotel. A single visitor is better served by the Metro.
We do not know in advance whether a coach, minibus or chauffeur car may stop at a given point at DWTC during the show. We agree the drop-off point against the organiser’s current access plan before the day, and we never assume a bay or gate.
Sizes run from the Mercedes V-Class for a small team, to the 13-seater van and the Mercedes Sprinter, then the 30-seater mini coach. Our event transport page covers the wider offer, and corporate chauffeur terms suit a company that needs a named account.
Before you travel
Entry rules depend on your passport. Check the official UAE government visa page, and read your own government’s travel advice page.
Late November is peak season, and it falls close to other events in the city, so larger vehicles and rooms near the venue go early. For a bigger party landing together, our big group arrival guide explains how a meet-and-greet works.
Asking for a quote
Send the dates, the head count, the hotel, which days you attend and whether you need the airport legs. We reply with a fixed written quote before you accept. Use the booking page, or read what is in a bus rental quote first. If the organiser changes its travel plan, its website is the current notice.
