Bus rental in Dubai with a driver, from 13 seats to 50
Dubai Bus Services offers bus rental in Dubai with a professional driver for groups of every size: a 13-seat Toyota HiAce for a family arriving at the airport, a Mercedes Sprinter for a roadshow, a 30-seat mini coach for a wedding shuttle and a 50-seat coach for a conference. Every vehicle comes with its driver, fuel and a written, fixed quote, so you are hiring a complete service rather than a bus and a list of problems to solve.
The same team also runs executive sedans, luxury SUVs, the seven-seat Mercedes V-Class and a Rolls-Royce, so one booking can cover the speakers’ cars, the delegates’ coach and the luggage van. If you need bus hire in Dubai for an afternoon, a weekend of weddings or an Abu Dhabi day trip, the process is the same: tell us the trip, receive a price in writing, and confirm only when it suits you.
What “with a driver” includes
Our buses, vans and cars are supplied with a driver only; we do not rent vehicles for self-drive. The driver brings the vehicle to you, is at the pick-up point ten minutes early, helps load the luggage, follows the route agreed for your group and waits between stops. Fuel is included, and your quote lists the road tolls (Salik in Dubai, Darb in Abu Dhabi), airport parking and the waiting allowance, so you see them before you confirm. Drivers are briefed before every job with the pick-up points, the timings and the name of the group leader, so nobody on board has to give directions.
Our buses, vans and cars at a glance
Seats are passenger seats; the driver is not counted. Bags are medium suitcases. Starting prices are for a full day (up to 10 hours) within Dubai, with driver and fuel. Your written quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours.
| Vehicle | Seats | Bags | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive sedan | 4 | 3 | From AED 950 per day |
| Rolls-Royce | 4 | 2 | From AED 3,500 per day |
| Luxury SUV | 6 | 5 | From AED 1,100 per day |
| Mercedes V-Class | 7 | 6 | From AED 1,150 per day |
| 13-seater van (Toyota HiAce) | 13 | 10 | From AED 900 per day |
| Mercedes Sprinter | 16 | 12 | From AED 2,450 per day |
| 30-seater mini coach | 22 to 30 | 20 | From AED 1,100 per day |
| 50-seater coach | 50 | 50 | From AED 1,450 per day |
You may notice that the 13-seater van and the 30-seater mini coach cost less per day than a Mercedes V-Class or a Mercedes Sprinter. That is not a mistake. The V-Class and the Sprinter are executive vehicles with leather seating and a premium finish, while the van and the mini coach are priced as working group transport. Our bus rental price guide explains what moves the price up or down, what each starting price includes and works through examples.
Choosing the right size of bus
Start with two numbers: how many people are travelling, and how many suitcases or bags they are carrying. Then add a little space. A group of fourteen with airport luggage will be far more comfortable in a 16-seat Sprinter than squeezed into a 13-seat van, and a 30-seat mini coach for 28 wedding guests leaves no room for the photographer who joins at the last minute.
Up to seven guests
One to three travellers suit the executive sedan; four to six with luggage suit the luxury SUV; and seven travel comfortably in the Mercedes V-Class, with sliding doors on both sides and room behind for six bags. These cars are often booked alongside a bus, for the hosts, a VIP or the family elders.
Eight to sixteen guests
This is minibus territory. The Toyota HiAce is practical, high-roofed and air-conditioned, with individual seat belts and a rear luggage area for around ten bags. The Mercedes Sprinter seats up to sixteen with standing headroom and reclining leather seats, or fewer in a VIP lounge layout. Our minibus rental page compares them in detail, and van with driver covers hourly and day hire for smaller groups and families.
Seventeen to thirty guests
The mini coach, a Toyota Coaster or similar with 22 to 30 seats, is one of the most useful vehicles in Dubai. It carries a wedding party or a team offsite in one go, yet it still fits into hotel driveways, villa streets and venue gates where a full-size coach cannot turn. Inside there are reclining seats, air-conditioning throughout, overhead and rear luggage space, and a PA microphone on request.
Thirty-one guests and more
The 50-seater coach moves a whole group on one timetable, with reclining seats and seat belts, powerful air-conditioning, a PA system for the host or guide and under-floor holds for luggage. For larger groups we combine several coaches, or coaches with mini coaches, and plan staggered pick-ups so that no hotel lobby is crowded at once and nobody waits outside in the heat.
Coach, mini coach, minibus or van? The terms explained
Bus companies in Dubai use these words loosely, which makes comparing quotes harder than it should be. This is how we use them:
- A van carries up to 13, like the Mercedes V-Class (7 seats) or the Toyota HiAce (13 seats). It is easy to park and quick through hotel driveways.
- A minibus is a bigger van-based vehicle for up to 16, like the Mercedes Sprinter, with standing headroom and individual seats.
- A mini coach is a small bus with 22 to 30 seats, like the Toyota Coaster or Mitsubishi Rosa. In the UAE it is often called a “coaster bus”.
- A coach is the full-size, high-floor vehicle with around 50 reclining seats and luggage holds under the floor.
When you compare prices, compare like with like: the number of seats, the hours included, whether fuel, tolls and parking are in the price, and whether VAT is shown. A low headline rate for a few hours is not the same as a full day with everything included.
Bus hire in Dubai for every kind of trip
Airport group transfers
Groups landing at Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central (DWC) are met in the arrivals hall by a driver holding a name board. We track the flight, so an early landing or a delay simply moves the pick-up, and the waiting allowance is written on your quote. For big arrivals with a lot of luggage, such as sports teams, wedding guests or incentive groups, we can send a separate luggage van so that bags never compete with passengers for space. See airport transfers and our guide to meeting your driver at DXB.
Conferences, exhibitions and Expo City
Delegate shuttles between hotels and the Dubai World Trade Centre or Expo City Dubai need careful timing: several pick-up points, a fixed arrival window and an evening departure that depends on when the last session ends. We plan the loops, the waiting points and the number of vehicles with you, and for larger events a coordinator stays on the ground. Read more about corporate transport and transport for Expo City Dubai.
Weddings and celebrations
Most weddings in Dubai need two kinds of transport: a beautiful car for the couple and a dependable shuttle for the guests. We handle both on one quote, from the bridal Rolls-Royce to mini coaches running between the hotels and the venue, all working from the same running order. Our wedding and event transport page explains how guest shuttles are scheduled, and the guide to booking a wedding car sets out a timeline.
City tours and day trips
A bus with a driver for the day turns a group sightseeing programme into something manageable: Old Dubai and the souks in the morning, Downtown and the Dubai Mall in the afternoon, the Marina after dark, with bags left safely on board. Further afield, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Hatta and Al Ain all work as day trips. Our drivers know the city well and are happy to suggest stops, but they are drivers rather than licensed tour guides, so book a guide separately if you want commentary inside museums and heritage sites.
Corporate outings, crews and roadshows
Team-building days, site visits, production crews moving between locations and investor roadshows all benefit from one vehicle and one driver who stays with the group all day. Companies that book regularly can open an account with one consolidated monthly invoice, broken down by cost centre on request, and assistants can book for any traveller or team.
Schools, clubs and sports teams
School trips, sports fixtures and club outings suit the mini coach and the 50-seater, with a seat belt on every seat and room for kit in the luggage holds. Send us the headcount, the number of supervising adults and any equipment, and we will size the vehicle accordingly. If the group is close to a vehicle’s limit, we will suggest the next size up rather than a tight fit.
Bus rental prices in Dubai: what you pay for
Our published starting prices run from AED 900 per day for the 13-seater van to AED 1,450 per day for the 50-seater coach, each for a full day of up to 10 hours within Dubai with driver and fuel. The exact figure on your quote depends on a handful of things you control:
- Hourly bookings start from four hours within Dubai. If a full day runs over, extra time is charged at the hourly rate written on your quote.
- Trips to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Hatta or the northern Emirates are quoted as intercity journeys, because of the distance and the driver’s time.
- Every quote includes a waiting allowance. If you need the driver to wait longer, the rate is shown on the same quote, so you know the cost of running late before it happens.
- Multi-day programmes and several vehicles are priced together on one quote, with each day and each vehicle listed.
- Salik, Darb and airport parking for your route are listed on the quote, not added afterwards.
There is no surge pricing for late nights, public holidays or rain, and nothing is charged until you confirm. The bus rental price guide covers every vehicle with examples, and if you are weighing up a private vehicle against a taxi for the run to the capital, our guide to the Dubai to Abu Dhabi taxi cost compares every option.
How to rent a bus with a driver in Dubai
- Tell us the trip. Use the quote card at the top of this page or the booking page: pick-up, destination, date and time, and the number of passengers. Add notes about luggage, extra stops or a return time.
- Get a fixed quote. A fixed, written price arrives by email, usually within the hour. It names the vehicle and lists the tolls, parking and waiting allowance.
- Reply to confirm. Nothing is charged before you confirm. Payment details arrive with your confirmation, and corporate accounts can be invoiced monthly.
- Check the driver’s details. We send them before pick-up. Changes and cancellations follow the terms on your written quote.
- Travel. The driver is at the pick-up point ten minutes early, with the vehicle cooled and ready.
For cars and vans, 24 hours’ notice is usually enough. For coaches, weddings and large events, book as early as you can: two weeks or more is ideal in peak season, when the cooler months bring conferences, weddings and tour groups to the city at the same time. Prefer to talk it through? Message us on WhatsApp at +971 54 126 1681 or email info@dubaibusservices.com with the details.
Three typical bookings
These examples show how a booking comes together. They are illustrations, not quotes; your price depends on your own date, route and hours.
Take a two-day conference. Ninety delegates are staying in two hotels in Dubai Marina and attending sessions at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Two 50-seater coaches run a morning pick-up wave from each hotel and an evening return, a Sprinter takes the speakers, and an executive sedan collects the keynote guest from DXB. Everything sits on one quote, with each day and vehicle listed.
Now a wedding weekend. The bride travels in a Rolls-Royce, both families in luxury SUVs and the V-Class, and 60 guests ride between three hotels and the venue in a 50-seater and a mini coach. Every vehicle works from the planner’s running order, and the coach waits for the late finish.
Or a family reunion. Fourteen relatives land at DXB on three flights during the afternoon. A Sprinter meets the largest group, a V-Class collects the others as they arrive, and the next day the Sprinter returns for a full day in Old Dubai and Downtown, with the same driver.
Bus rental from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and the other Emirates
We drive daily to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and to every other emirate on request. The run from Dubai to Abu Dhabi city takes around 1 hour 30 minutes outside the rush hours; Sharjah can take around 30 minutes off-peak and an hour or more at rush hour; and Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah are around 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours away. A coach or minibus for an intercity day keeps the group together, waits while you visit and brings everyone home on one timetable.
Popular routes include Dubai to Abu Dhabi Airport (from AED 300 one way in a sedan), Dubai to Sharjah Airport, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. See all transfer routes from Dubai or Abu Dhabi and intercity transfers for groups.
Pick-ups across Dubai
We collect from hotels in Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR and Palm Jumeirah; offices in DIFC, Business Bay, Dubai Media City and Al Quoz; homes in Dubai Hills, Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches and Jumeirah; and the older neighbourhoods of Deira and Bur Dubai. Both airports are covered, as are Expo City and Dubai Creek Harbour.
Buses need more space than cars, so tell us about the pick-up point when you book. Some hotels ask coaches to use a side entrance or a coach bay rather than the main driveway, and some residential communities restrict large vehicles. Give us the address and we will check the access in advance, then tell the group leader exactly where to wait.
Cars, limousines and VIP vehicles on the same booking
Not every guest travels by bus. Our limousine service covers the executive sedan (a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or Lexus LS, or similar), the Rolls-Royce Cullinan or Ghost, the Cadillac Escalade or GMC Yukon class of SUV, and the V-Class. Book them for a CEO’s airport arrival, a bridal car, a family of six with a week of luggage or a day of meetings in DIFC. For a whole day with one car, see car with driver for a day; for shorter bookings, hourly chauffeur hire starts at four hours.
Mixing vehicles is where a single supplier saves effort. A conference day might need a coach for delegates, a Sprinter for the speakers and a sedan for the keynote guest; a wedding might need the Rolls-Royce, two SUVs for the families and a mini coach for guests. One quote covers the convoy, and every driver works from the same running order.
Planning tips for group transport in Dubai
- Allow for traffic. Sheikh Zayed Road and the roads into Sharjah are busiest on weekday mornings and late afternoons. We build that into the pick-up time, but a group programme should leave a margin too.
- Plan around the heat. In the hottest months, keep outdoor stops early in the morning or after sunset. The vehicle is cooled before pick-up and kept cool between stops.
- Collect from as few points as possible. Each extra hotel adds time to the loop. If guests are spread across the city, two smaller vehicles can be quicker than one long route.
- Name a group leader. One person with a phone who can count heads and talk to the driver keeps every departure on time.
- Count luggage, not just people. Golf bags, prams, equipment cases and wheelchairs change the vehicle you need. Folding wheelchairs travel in the luggage space; tell us about any mobility needs when you book.
- Children: child seats are free on request in our cars, SUVs and vans; tell us each child’s age when you book.
Comfort and safety on board
Every vehicle in the fleet is fully air-conditioned, and every seat has a seat belt. UAE law requires every passenger to wear one, front and rear, and the driver will ask everyone to buckle up before setting off, even on short city runs. Vehicles are late-model, maintained to the manufacturer’s schedule and cleaned before every job. On longer drives the driver can stop for a short comfort break, and if you would like a coffee or photo stop on an intercity trip, tell us when you book and it will be built into the timing.
For guests with limited mobility, tell us what is needed when you book. Drivers help with doors, steps and luggage, and the V-Class, with its sliding doors, is often the easiest vehicle to board. We confirm in writing what we can arrange before you travel.
What every booking includes
- A late-model vehicle, cleaned before every job
- A professional, uniformed driver, briefed in advance
- Fuel, Salik and Darb tolls, and airport parking on your route
- A waiting allowance written on your quote
- Flight tracking on every airport booking
- Changes and cancellations follow the terms on your written quote
- A fixed price, with no surge for late nights, holidays or rain
Why groups book Dubai Bus Services
We cover the whole range, from a single sedan to a 50-seat coach, which means one contact, one quote and one standard for every vehicle in your programme. Quotes are written and fixed, with tolls and parking listed, so finance teams can approve them and event planners can rely on them. Drivers are vetted, uniformed and briefed before every job, and they drive these roads every day.
We would rather recommend the right vehicle than the biggest one. Mention your group size and luggage, and we will quote the vehicle that fits, whether that is a 30-seat mini coach instead of a 50-seater or two vans instead of one coach for a scattered group.
Common questions about bus rental in Dubai
How much does it cost to rent a bus in Dubai?
Our starting prices are from AED 900 per day for a 13-seater van, from AED 1,100 per day for a 30-seater mini coach and from AED 1,450 per day for a 50-seater coach, each for a full day of up to 10 hours within Dubai with driver and fuel. Your written quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours.
How much does it cost to rent a 50-seater bus in Dubai?
From AED 1,450 per day with driver and fuel, for up to 10 hours within Dubai. That covers the driver, fuel and air conditioning, and your written quote confirms the exact price. Trips to other emirates, extra hours and several coaches on the same day are priced on your quote.
Can I rent a bus without a driver?
Not from us. Every bus, van and car we supply comes with a professional driver, which is how most group transport in Dubai is booked. Driving a large passenger vehicle yourself needs the right licence class, and you would also be responsible for fuel, tolls and parking.
Do you provide several buses for one event?
Yes. Tell us the guest numbers and timings, and we plan the vehicles, the pick-up waves and, for larger events, a coordinator on the ground.
How do I book?
Use the booking page: one short form, about a minute. We email a fixed quote; reply to confirm and you are booked.
What does the quote include?
The vehicle, the chauffeur and fuel. Road tolls (Salik in Dubai, Darb in Abu Dhabi), airport parking and the waiting time allowance are listed on the quote before you confirm. Extras such as additional hours are listed upfront at a fixed rate.
How far in advance should I book?
For cars and vans, 24 hours is usually enough; for coaches, weddings and large events, the earlier the better, ideally two weeks or more in peak season.
Do you track flights?
Yes, on every airport booking. Share your flight number and your chauffeur adjusts to early or late landings automatically.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Changes and cancellations follow the terms on your written quote, which you see before you confirm.

Tell us the trip. We’ll send a fixed price.
Two answers here, the rest on the card above. A fixed price follows by email.
