Rent a van with a driver for an airport arrival, a family day out or a team on the move: a Mercedes V-Class, Toyota HiAce or Sprinter, quoted in writing before you book.
Your reference
Van hire with driver is the simplest way to move a family, a team or a small group around Dubai together. You get one vehicle, one professional driver and one written price, with fuel included and the tolls, parking and waiting allowance listed on your quote. There is no rental counter, no deposit for a self-drive vehicle, no hunting for parking, and nobody in the group has to drive.
We run three passenger vans, each with its driver: the seven-seat Mercedes V-Class, the 13-seat Toyota HiAce and the 16-seat Mercedes Sprinter. Book one by the hour, for the whole day or for a one-way transfer, from any address in Dubai and both airports.
Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.
Get my priceOnce a group reaches five or six with luggage, one van is usually simpler than two cars. Everyone travels together, the bags go in one place, there is a single pick-up time and a single price, and nobody waits at the other end for the second car to arrive. For seven guests, the V-Class does the job of two sedans; for eight to thirteen, the HiAce replaces a small convoy, and it starts from AED 900 per day.
If someone in the group needs to split off during the day, for a meeting or an early flight, add a car to the same quote and both vehicles work from the same plan.
Seats are passenger seats; the driver is not counted. Bags are medium suitcases. Starting prices are for a full day (up to 10 hours) within Dubai, with driver and fuel.
| Van | Seats | Bags | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes V-Class | 7 | 6 | From AED 1,150 per day |
| Toyota HiAce | 13 | 10 | From AED 900 per day |
| Mercedes Sprinter | 16 | 12 | From AED 2,450 per day |
A business-class cabin for seven, with electric sliding doors on both sides, rear climate control, chilled water and phone chargers. On some models the captain’s seats face each other in a conference layout, so a team can talk on the way to a meeting. It is the natural step up from an SUV when a family or a team has serious luggage.
High roof, easy access, full air-conditioning and individual seat belts on every row, with a rear luggage area for around ten bags. It is the most economical van in the fleet and the usual choice for group airport transfers, sports teams and crews.
Standing headroom, reclining leather seats, individual air vents and reading lights. Choose the standard layout for up to sixteen guests, or a VIP layout with fewer, wider seats for roadshows and executive tours.
How you book depends on the shape of your day:
Not sure which fits? Describe the day in the notes and we will suggest the cheaper option. Our price guide explains what changes a quote, with worked examples.
We collect from any address in Dubai: hotel lobbies in Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR and Palm Jumeirah; villas in Dubai Hills, Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches and Jumeirah; offices in DIFC, Business Bay, Dubai Media City and Al Quoz; and homes and hotels in Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha and Dubai Creek Harbour. Both airports, DXB and DWC, are covered, as are Expo City and the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Wherever you are in the city, the booking works the same way. Send the pick-up address and time, and the driver is there ten minutes early. If you are searching for a van with driver near you at short notice, message us on WhatsApp at +971 54 126 1681 with the details. For cars and vans, 24 hours’ notice is usually enough.
Families landing at DXB with a week’s luggage are the most common van booking. The driver tracks the flight, waits in arrivals with a name board and walks you to the van. The V-Class takes seven people and six bags, the HiAce thirteen people and around ten bags. See airport transfers for details.
A van for the day keeps everyone together for the beach, the malls and dinner, with prams, shopping and cool boxes left in the back. Child seats are free on request in our vans; tell us each child’s age when you book.
A team moving between meetings in DIFC, Business Bay and Dubai Media City travels more easily in one V-Class than in three taxis, and arrives together. For longer programmes, see DIFC chauffeur service and corporate transport.
Parents and grandparents appreciate the easy access of the V-Class, and a Sprinter can carry the bridal party or close family between hotel and venue, timed to the same running order as the wedding car.
Golf bags, bikes and equipment cases take more space than suitcases. Tell us what you are carrying and we will choose a van with enough room, or add a second vehicle for the kit.
A few common situations, and the van that usually suits them:
If your group sits between two sizes, ask us to quote both. The HiAce starts below the V-Class and the Sprinter, so a group of eight to thirteen often saves by choosing it.
For an arrival at Dubai International, share the flight number when you book. The driver tracks the flight, waits in the public arrivals hall just beyond customs with a name board, takes the trolley and walks you to the van, parked a short walk away in the terminal car park. Airport parking is listed on your quote, so there is nothing to pay on the way out, and an early landing or a delay simply moves the pick-up.
For departures, the driver collects you ten minutes before the agreed time and drives to the departures level of your terminal. Most airlines ask passengers to arrive around three hours before an international flight; we work the pick-up time back from that, and allow for the traffic at the time of day you travel.
This is an example of how a family day with a van might run; your own plan can be anything you like within the booked hours.
The driver collects a family of seven from a villa in Arabian Ranches at 9am in a V-Class, with two child seats already fitted. The morning is spent at the Dubai Frame and the Museum of the Future, then lunch in Downtown. In the afternoon the van takes everyone to the beach at La Mer, where the driver waits nearby with the cool box and the change of clothes. After sunset it is dinner in Dubai Marina, and home by 7pm: ten hours, one driver, no taxis, and the shopping never left the van.
Exhibitor teams often need a van every morning and evening of a show, with room for the team and their display materials. The V-Class carries seven people with luggage space behind, and the Sprinter takes up to sixteen with space at the rear, within reason; bulky stand equipment should go with your freight company. For shows at Expo City Dubai or the Dubai World Trade Centre, we check the drop-off points before the event; see Expo City Dubai.
Every van is fully air-conditioned and every seat has a seat belt. UAE law requires every passenger to wear one, front and rear, and children under ten, or shorter than 145 cm, may not sit in the front. Child seats are free on request in our vans; tell us each child’s age when you book and they are fitted before pick-up.
Drivers help with doors, steps and luggage. For guests with limited mobility, the V-Class, with its sliding doors, is often the easiest to board, and folding wheelchairs travel in the luggage space; tell us what is needed and we confirm in writing what we can arrange.
If you specifically want a Mercedes van with driver in Dubai, choose between the V-Class and the Sprinter. The V-Class is the more discreet of the two, closer to a large executive car, and suits up to seven guests. The Sprinter is a full minibus with standing headroom, for up to sixteen, or fewer in a VIP layout. Both arrive cleaned and cooled before pick-up.
Our quote names the vehicle class. If you need a particular model, colour or layout for a client or an occasion, add it to the notes and we will confirm in writing whether it is available on your date.
Vans are the comfortable way to take a group to another emirate. The drive to Abu Dhabi city takes around 1 hour 30 minutes outside the rush hours, and the van can wait while you visit the Grand Mosque, a theme park on Yas Island or a family home before bringing everyone back. Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain are all within reach as one-way transfers or day trips.
Intercity trips are quoted separately from the Dubai day rate, with tolls and the waiting allowance listed on the quote. See Abu Dhabi and intercity transfers, the Dubai to Abu Dhabi Airport route, or our guide to the Dubai to Abu Dhabi taxi cost, which compares a van with taxis, app rides and the bus for a group.
Our vans carry people and their luggage. We do not offer cargo vans, removals or chiller vans, and we do not rent vans for self-drive. If your group needs to move a lot of luggage or equipment as well as people, we can add a second passenger vehicle for the bags, and both sit on the same quote.
Plans move, especially around flights. Changes and cancellations follow the terms on your written quote, and we do our best to accommodate them. If you need a larger or smaller van after confirming, email us and we send an updated quote for you to approve. If an airline cancels or moves your flight, send the new details as soon as you have them and we will move the pick-up.
Use the quote card on this page or the booking page. Tell us the pick-up, the destination or the plan for the day, the date and time, the number of passengers and the luggage. A fixed, written quote arrives by email, usually within the hour. Reply to confirm; nothing is charged before then, and payment details arrive with your confirmation.
Need more than sixteen seats? Our minibus rental page covers the 30-seat mini coach, and the 50-seater coach moves larger groups.
