The park is open all season, so this is one National Day venue you can plan now. Read what it publishes about hours, buses and parking first. A private vehicle is for the party that wants one pick-up time and one return time.
What the park publishes
Global Village sits in Dubailand, off Exit 37 of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, according to one travel site. Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026 and runs to May 2027. The park’s own Plan your visit page gives the hours:
- Sunday to Wednesday: 4pm to midnight.
- Thursday to Saturday, and public holidays: 4pm to 1am.
- Tuesdays outside public holidays: families, couples and ladies only.
National Day is a public holiday, and in 2026 it falls on a Wednesday and a Thursday. So both 2 and 3 December carry the later 1am closing. The Tuesday rule matters if the Cabinet moves the holiday and puts a day on a Tuesday, because the park lists the family-only rule as applying to Tuesdays that are not public holidays. One travel site adds that the gates close about 30 minutes before the park does. Treat that as reported, and check the park.
Entry is the park’s own business. We do not sell tickets, and we do not print the tariffs. The park says entry is free for People of Determination and one companion.

Get a quoteThe public options, before any private one
There is no Metro station at Global Village. The RTA runs four seasonal bus routes, each about every 40 to 60 minutes, according to its October announcement as reported in the press:
- Route 102, from Al Rashidiya bus station. The park’s page names CentrePoint Metro Station instead, so use the RTA journey planner for this one.
- Route 103, from Union.
- Route 104, from Al Ghubaiba.
- Route 106, from Mall of the Emirates bus station.
The park also names Careem for taxis, and ride-hailing works too. For a couple, or a family of three, a taxi from a Marina or Downtown hotel is a simple answer. Frequency can change on a holiday, so check the RTA’s notice for 2 and 3 December when it appears.
Parking zones and the holiday shuttle
If your group arrives by road, the park’s page describes the parking. Free zones P1, P3 and P5 are about 400 to 450 metres from the Gate of the World. Overflow zones P7 to P11 are about a kilometre away. They open only on weekends, public holidays and busy days, and a free shuttle runs from them to the Cultural Gate.
We do not know which zone, if any, a coach or minibus is directed to, and the park does not say. We do not assume a bay. Before the day we ask the park or the organiser for the drop-off point and we put it in your written quote. On a night when the overflow zones are open, expect the walk or the shuttle to be part of the evening.
Approximate drive times
These are our own estimates from a road model with no traffic in it, so they are the quickest case. We give a range, and the upper end is a better guess for a holiday evening.

Allow much more on 2 and 3 December. No organiser or authority has published a drive time for this venue, and holiday evenings are slower than the model. Late-night return times are also unknown, so we agree the return time with you and do not quote one in advance.
What about the fireworks?
The park runs fireworks, and in 2025 the press listed them at 9pm on 1 to 3 December, with drone shows on 1 and 2 December. That was last year. The 2026 times for Season 31 are not announced yet, and we will not guess them. Check the park’s site and social pages nearer the date.
Plan the evening so the end of the night is flexible. If the show time changes, a pick-up fixed to the clock rather than to the show is the one that costs you time.
Planning the night as a group
We are Dubai Bus Services, a private company, and we are not an official partner of Global Village or of National Day. Our vehicle is booked separately from the RTA’s buses. It is meant for a party that would otherwise split up across taxis.
- A small family or friends group: the Mercedes V-Class.
- Up to thirteen people: the 13-seater van or the Mercedes Sprinter.
- A school, club or tour party of about thirty: the 30-seater mini coach. Fifty: the 50-seater coach.
Tell us when you want to leave the hotel, when you want to be back, and whether the driver waits at the park or comes back for you. The written quote spells out which you chose. The guide to what is in a bus rental quote explains the lines.
Rules apply inside the park too. It asks visitors to dress modestly, bars pets and public displays of affection, needs a permit for filming and does not allow scooters, bicycles or hoverboards at the gate. Brief your group before you leave the hotel.

What are Global Village hours on National Day?
