A private car with driver from Dubai across the Hajar Mountains to Fujairah, the Al Aqah beach resorts and Dibba — about 90 minutes to two hours, door to door.

The UAE’s east coast faces the Gulf of Oman rather than the Arabian Gulf, and it feels different from Dubai: mountains running down to the sea, quieter beaches and clear water for snorkelling and diving. Fujairah city, the resorts at Al Aqah and the old harbour town of Dibba are all within about two hours of Dubai by road.
Our Dubai to Fujairah car with driver collects you from any Dubai address or from the arrivals hall at DXB and takes you straight to your hotel or meeting. Book one-way, a return on another day, or a full day with the chauffeur waiting, each quoted in writing with fuel and tolls included.
Most journeys leave Dubai on E311 or E611 heading north-east, then cut inland past Al Dhaid and Masafi and down through the Hajar Mountains to the coast. The scenery changes quickly from desert to rocky peaks and wadis. Approximate times outside the peaks:
Stops are easy to arrange. The roadside market near Masafi is a popular place to stretch your legs; just mention it when you book so it is built into the timing. The northern and eastern Emirates do not currently charge road tolls, and any Salik gate passed in Dubai is included in your quote.
Your chauffeur drops you at each entrance and waits nearby with the car cool, or returns at an agreed time if you are spending the day on the beach.
Many Dubai residents book Fujairah for a weekend by the sea: a Friday or Saturday transfer out and a Sunday return. Others travel for work, as Fujairah is one of the world’s largest bunkering hubs and home to energy and shipping companies. Either way, the booking is the same: tell us the addresses and times, and a fixed quote follows by email.
If your boat trip from Dibba enters Omani waters, the tour operator will advise on any documents you need; our job is to get you to the harbour on time and collect you when you return. Around public holidays the coast road and the resorts are busy, so book early.
The east coast is the UAE’s best-known area for diving and snorkelling, with reefs and rocky islands close to shore around Al Aqah and Dibba. If you are travelling with your own kit, tell us the number of bags so we can choose a vehicle with enough room, and we can collect you from the dive centre rather than the hotel at the end of the day. Wet kit travels in the luggage space, not the cabin.
Some guests split a holiday between Dubai and the east coast, or move on to Ras Al Khaimah afterwards. We plan each leg as a separate one-way transfer on one quote, with the dates and times set in advance and changes free up to 24 hours before each pick-up. Arriving at DXB and heading straight to the east coast? Share your flight number and the chauffeur will meet you in arrivals with a name board.
The executive sedan suits one to three travellers. For the mountain road with a family and beach bags, the luxury SUV is the most comfortable, and the Mercedes V-Class seats seven with luggage space behind. Groups of up to sixteen can travel together in the Mercedes Sprinter.
For other destinations in the north and east, see Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai to Hatta.

Around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your starting point and the traffic leaving Dubai. The route crosses the Hajar Mountains via Al Dhaid and Masafi before reaching the coast. We set the pick-up time so you arrive in good time for check-in or your first dive.
Yes. The roadside market near Masafi, often called the Friday Market although it trades every day, is a popular stop for fruit, plants, pottery and carpets. Mention it when you book so the stop is built into your timing, and the chauffeur will wait while you browse.
Yes. Tell us the harbour and the boat’s departure and return times, and we will plan both legs around them. If the trip runs late, the chauffeur waits; any extra time beyond the allowance on your quote is charged at the rate shown there.
No. Khor Fakkan belongs to the Emirate of Sharjah, although it sits on the east coast between Fujairah city and Dibba. We drive there just as easily, and it combines well with a Fujairah day: the bay, the beach promenade and the mountain views make a good afternoon stop.
Yes, though it is a full day: allow around four hours of driving in total. A typical plan leaves Dubai at about 8am, spends the morning snorkelling at Al Aqah, visits Al Bidya Mosque and Fujairah Fort in the afternoon, and returns to Dubai in the early evening.
The luxury SUV, for its height, space and smooth ride on the long bends through the Hajar Mountains. Couples travelling light are perfectly comfortable in the executive sedan, and the Mercedes V-Class is the better choice for seven guests or plenty of luggage.
