WHX Dubai 2027, one show on two sites.

The show that grew out of Arab Health now fills two venues in four days. Learn the organiser’s own transport first: the Red Line, the free shuttle between the sites and ride-hailing. A private vehicle is for the group that wants its own clock.

Expo City Dubai at dusk, the home of the Dubai Exhibition Centre

Two venues, four days

WHX Dubai 2027 runs from Monday 25 to Thursday 28 January 2027. The organiser, Informa Markets, describes it as one show on two venues: the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai, and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on Sheikh Zayed Road. The organiser says every ticket includes exhibition access at both. WHX is the new name for Arab Health, so older guides may show the old name or only the World Trade Centre.

Both venues open to the same hours, according to the organiser. Final times are confirmed on its website closer to the event, so check before you plan a day tightly.

Tuesday26 January10:00 to 18:00
Wednesday27 January10:00 to 18:00

Advantage and Platinum ticket holders can go in one hour earlier each day. Two side events sit at DWTC: WHX Tech from 26 to 28 January, and WHX Leaders on 26 January, which is by invitation only. WHX is a trade event. Registration, badges and eligibility are on the organiser’s own site, and badges are digital in the WHX Events App. We do not sell tickets, passes or exhibitor space.

Which venue holds what

The organiser splits the show by subject. Plan your transport around the venue you actually need on each day.

  • Expo City (DEC): international halls, medical equipment and devices, IT systems, imaging and diagnostics, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, infrastructure. The organiser calls it the better fit for hospital leaders, clinical specialists and medical technology buyers.
  • World Trade Centre (DWTC): labs, wellness and longevity, pharma and biotech, medical equipment, disposables and consumables. The organiser points laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotech and wellness people here. WHX Labs, once Medlab Middle East, is now part of the show.

Some visitors will need both. A buyer who starts at Expo City on Tuesday and has a laboratory meeting at DWTC on Wednesday is a common pattern. We could not find a published map of which halls hold which zones, or the names of visitor entrances, so we do not quote any. The organiser’s attendee pages are the place to look.

The Red Line, the free shuttle and the rest

According to the organiser, the Dubai Metro Red Line serves both venues. Expo 2020 Station is the stop for DEC, followed by a short, signposted walk. World Trade Centre Station connects directly to DWTC. Check the RTA timetable page for the day you travel: as we read it, Monday to Thursday service runs from 5 am to midnight, but we found nothing on late hours during WHX week.

A free shuttle runs between the two venues on every show day, again according to the organiser. We could not find its timetable, pick-up points or how often it leaves, so look at the organiser’s travel and venue page before you rely on a particular departure.

Taxi and ride-hailing are simple. The organiser says Careem and Uber operate around the clock at both venues. Paid parking is available at both, with electric vehicle bays at DWTC. We give no parking figures because the organiser’s pages give none that we can use.

From the airport, the organiser gives about 15 minutes by taxi to DWTC and about 30 minutes to DEC, or roughly 20 and 45 minutes by Metro. Our airport to hotel guide explains the options on arrival. Partner hotels in the organiser’s hotel programme list a free daily shuttle to the venue, so ask your hotel whether it is one of them.

Getting from one venue to the other

DEC and DWTC are not within walking distance. By road they are about 39 km apart, and a free-flow route model gives roughly 30 to 35 minutes. That is approximate, from OpenStreetMap routing with no traffic, so allow more in the show week. The free shuttle and the Red Line both cover the link, and for one person they are the obvious choice.

The cross-town move is where plans go wrong for groups. Eight people with laptops and a stand case do not always want to split across a queue. If you only need one move, say so when you ask for a quote. The team and tournament transport guide shows how we handle a group that moves as one.

Where a private vehicle fits

We are Dubai Bus Services. We are not the organiser’s transport provider, and the service below is separate from the organiser’s shuttles and hotel buses.

A pre-booked vehicle suits a group that wants one driver for the week, a pick-up time set by its own diary and one set of familiar faces. That is often a hospital delegation, a trade body, a company team on a booked block of rooms, or a buyer group with meetings at set hours. A shuttle suits the person who is happy to join a scheduled run.

With us the booking states the pick-up point, the time, the stops and the hours. We do not know in advance whether a coach, minibus or chauffeur car may stop at a given drop-off at either venue. We agree the point against the organiser’s access plan before the day, and we never assume a bay.

Vehicle sizes run from the Mercedes V-Class for a small team, to the 13-seater van and the Mercedes Sprinter, then the 30-seater mini coach and the 50-seater coach. A company that needs a named account can read about corporate chauffeur terms. Our event transport page covers the wider event offer.

Before you travel

Entry rules depend on your passport. Check the official UAE government visa page, and the organiser’s visa support page, before you book anything. We do not give visa advice. Read your own government’s current travel advice page too.

Late January falls in peak season, so larger vehicles and rooms near the venues go early. Landing in a group? Our airport transfer page and big group arrival guide explain how a meet-and-greet pick-up works.

Asking for a quote

Send the dates, the head count, the hotel or hotels, which venue on which day and whether you need the airport legs. We reply with a fixed written quote before you accept. Use the booking page, or read what is in a bus rental quote first. If the organiser changes its shuttle or parking plan, its website is the current notice.

Frequently asked.

Quick answers for this trip.

When is WHX Dubai 2027?

It runs from Monday 25 to Thursday 28 January 2027. The exhibition is open 11:00 to 18:00 on Monday, 10:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10:00 to 17:00 on Thursday, subject to the organiser’s final notice.

Is WHX only at the World Trade Centre?

No. It is held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai and at Dubai World Trade Centre. The organiser says one ticket covers exhibition access at both.

How do I get between the two venues?

The organiser runs a free shuttle between them on every show day, and the Red Line links Expo 2020 Station and World Trade Centre Station. By road it is about 39 km, so a private vehicle is a choice for groups, not a need.

Does the Metro reach both venues?

Yes, according to the organiser. Expo 2020 Station is followed by a short signposted walk to DEC, and World Trade Centre Station connects directly to DWTC. Check the RTA timetable for the hours on your day.

Are you the transport provider for WHX?

No. We are a private company, not appointed by the organiser or the venues. Our vehicles are booked separately from the organiser’s shuttles.

Can a coach drop off at the door?

We do not assume so. Drop-off rules for coaches and private vehicles are not published in what we could find. We agree the point with the organiser’s access plan before the day.

Do you sell WHX tickets?

No. Registration, tickets and badges are handled by the organiser. We provide the vehicle and the driver.

How much does a vehicle cost?

Ask for a fixed written quote. It depends on the dates, group size, venues and hours, and we put it in writing before you accept.
