Your reference
Coach rental in Dubai starts to make sense at about twenty people. Below that, a minibus is usually quicker and easier to park. Above it, a convoy of vans means three drivers, three arrival times and luggage spread across all of them, and somebody always ends up waiting at the other end for the last van.
We run two sizes of coach, and each comes with its driver. The mini coach is a Toyota Coaster or similar with 22 to 30 seats. The 50-seater coach is a full-size, high-floor coach with luggage holds under the floor. We don’t rent coaches for self-drive.
The driver brings the coach to your first pick-up ten minutes early with the air-conditioning already running. Fuel is in the price. Your written quote lists the Salik and Darb tolls, the parking and the waiting allowance for your route, so the figure you confirm is the figure you pay, and nothing is added at the end of the day.
Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.
Get my price| Coach | Seats | Luggage | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini coach (Coaster or similar) | 22 to 30 | Around 20 medium suitcases | From AED 1,100 per day |
| 50-seater coach | 50 | About one medium suitcase per passenger | From AED 1,450 per day |
Seats are passenger seats. The driver isn’t counted. Starting prices cover a full day of up to 10 hours within Dubai with driver and fuel, and your quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours.
This is the coach we recommend most often, because Dubai is full of places a big coach can’t reach. It turns into villa streets, hotel porte-cochères and venue gates where a 50-seater would have to stop on the road and leave everyone to walk in the heat. Inside there are reclining seats, overhead racks and a rear luggage area for around twenty medium suitcases. A PA microphone can be fitted on request if you have a host or a guide.
Fifty reclining leather seats, each with a seat belt. Curtains at the windows, racks overhead for hand luggage, and two long holds under the floor that take roughly one medium suitcase per passenger. Every full-size coach has a PA system, which tour leaders and teachers use more than they expect to. The high floor puts the cabin above the traffic and the bags below it, and on the 90-minute run to Abu Dhabi that difference is very noticeable.
Count everyone who needs a seat, and that means more than the guests. Tour leaders, teachers, photographers and event staff all need one, and so does the person who joins at the second hotel. Then think about luggage, because a 50-seater with every seat taken and a suitcase for each person is full in both senses.
| Group size | What we would usually send | Starting from |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 30 | One mini coach | AED 1,100 per day |
| 31 to 50 | One 50-seater coach | AED 1,450 per day |
| 51 to 80 | A 50-seater and a mini coach | AED 2,550 per day together |
| 81 to 100 | Two 50-seater coaches | AED 2,900 per day together |
| 101 to 150 | Three 50-seater coaches | AED 4,350 per day together |
The combined figures simply add our starting day rates together, so treat them as a guide. Two coaches also give you options that one doesn’t. One can leave early with the people who need to get back. Or both can collect from different hotels at the same time and meet at the venue, which is often faster than one long loop. For a few hundred guests we plan the coaches in waves, and on larger events a coordinator stays on the ground.
Our honest view: for 18 people we’d send the mini coach rather than two vans. One driver, one arrival time, and everyone hears the same announcement about when to be back. Below about sixteen, a minibus such as the Mercedes Sprinter or the Toyota HiAce is the better tool. It’s easier to bring to the door and it doesn’t need a coach bay.
The middle ground is where people get it wrong. Two smaller vehicles beat one coach when the group is spread over hotels in different parts of the city, when a villa community won’t let a large vehicle in, or when the programme splits in two after lunch. One coach wins when the group stays together all day. If you can’t decide, send the headcount and the pick-up addresses and ask us to quote both. Our bus rental price guide shows how the cost per seat drops as the vehicle gets bigger, which surprises most people.
Most group sightseeing in Dubai runs on a coach. The usual circuit goes from Old Dubai and the Creek to Downtown, then Jumeirah and the Marina. At each attraction the coach uses the coach bay or the designated drop-off, which is sometimes a short walk from the main entrance, so warn anyone who struggles with distance. Our drivers aren’t licensed guides. If you want commentary, book a guide and they can use the coach’s PA on the way.
Delegate transport to the Dubai World Trade Centre or Expo City works best in timed waves: one coach per group of nearby hotels in the morning, a fixed evening departure, and a later coach for the people who stay for drinks. We plan the loops and the waiting points with you. For drop-off rules at the bigger venues, see Expo City Dubai.
Every seat has a seat belt, kit goes in the holds, and the driver won’t pull away until everyone is buckled in. Tell us how many supervising adults are coming and what equipment you have. Cricket bags and instrument cases are bulkier than suitcases.
Guest shuttles between hotels and the venue are a classic mini coach job, running to the same timetable as the bridal cars. Our wedding and event transport page explains how the loops are scheduled.
For a programme of several days, every day and every coach goes on one quote. Ask in the notes for the same driver throughout. By day two the driver knows the group leader, the hotel entrance and how long this particular group takes to board, and mornings get quicker.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the most popular coach day trip we run. Coaches use the mosque’s designated parking and the driver waits. Al Ain, Hatta and the east coast work as day trips too, quoted as intercity days.
When a coach day runs late, it is almost always the stops, not the driving. Fifty people take longer to get off and on than anyone expects. Allow around ten minutes per pick-up without luggage, and fifteen to twenty when suitcases go into the holds.
Keep pick-ups to as few as you can. Every extra hotel adds a stop, a head count and a few minutes of driveway traffic. If three hotels are within a few minutes’ walk of each other, ask the guests to gather at one.
Give a meeting point and a time, not a duration. “Back on the coach at 4.15, same door” works. “See you in an hour” doesn’t. The driver will be there on time; the group leader’s job is to count heads.
Sheikh Zayed Road and the roads towards Sharjah are at their worst on weekday mornings and late afternoons. We build a margin into pick-up times, and your programme should have one too. From May to September, put outdoor stops in the early morning or after sunset; the coach is cooled before boarding and stays cool between stops.
On drives longer than an hour the driver can stop for a short break. If you want a coffee or photo stop, tell us when you book so it goes into the timings. Send us the draft programme with your request and we’ll point out anything that looks tight.
Here is how a coach day might run for 46 guests staying in two hotels in Dubai Marina. It’s an example, not a template. Inside the booked hours, the plan is yours.
One 50-seater covers it, from AED 1,450 per day, with tolls and parking listed on the quote.
Coaches need room, and Dubai’s hotels and gated communities guard their driveways. Many hotels send coaches to a coach bay or a side entrance rather than the main porte-cochère. Some villa communities won’t let large vehicles in at all. In the older parts of Deira and Bur Dubai the streets are narrow, and the coach often has to stop on the main road while the group walks the last hundred metres.
None of this is a problem if we know about it in advance. Give us the exact address of every pick-up and drop-off when you book. We check the access and tell your group leader exactly where to stand. Where a 50-seater can’t get close, the mini coach usually can.
Our starting prices are AED 1,100 per day for the mini coach and AED 1,450 per day for the 50-seater, each for up to 10 hours within Dubai with driver and fuel. The price covers the driver, fuel and air conditioning, and your written quote confirms the exact figure for your date and hours.
Five things move a coach quote away from the starting price. Extra hours beyond the ten are charged at the hourly rate on your quote. A day in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or the northern Emirates is quoted as an intercity day. Waiting beyond the allowance costs extra, which matters after a gala that overruns. Each extra coach and each extra day is listed separately. And tolls and parking depend on your actual route, so we list them rather than hide them in a surcharge.
We don’t add anything for late nights, public holidays or rain. Shorter bookings within Dubai are priced by the hour from four hours, and one-way trips such as an airport run are priced per trip.
These use our starting prices and are examples only. Your own price depends on the date, the route and the hours, and it’s confirmed in writing before you book.
Example 1: a university society of 26. A morning at a theme park, an afternoon at the beach, eight hours door to door. One mini coach, from AED 1,100 per day.
Example 2: a football tournament, 38 players and coaches over three days. Hotel to pitches and back each day, kit bags in the holds. One 50-seater from AED 1,450 per day, so from AED 4,350 for the three days, every day listed on one quote.
Example 3: a company offsite for 72. A team day at a venue in Dubai with dinner, back after 10pm. A 50-seater plus a mini coach, from AED 2,550 for the day together. Both coaches work from the same timetable.
Example 4: a tour group of 44 to Abu Dhabi. The Grand Mosque in the morning, the Louvre Abu Dhabi after lunch, back in Dubai for dinner. One 50-seater, quoted as an intercity day because of the distance, with Darb and Salik tolls listed on the quote.
We drive coaches to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah every day, and to the other emirates on request. Abu Dhabi city is around 1 hour 30 minutes from central Dubai outside the rush hours. Sharjah can be 30 minutes off-peak and an hour or more at rush hour. Al Ain, Hatta, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah are around 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours away, depending on where in Dubai you start.
Intercity days are quoted separately from the Dubai day rate, with tolls and the waiting allowance listed on the quote. See Abu Dhabi and intercity transfers, the Dubai to Al Ain route for the oasis and Jebel Hafeet, or all our routes from Dubai. Anything that crosses into Oman needs separate arrangements, so ask us before you build it into a programme.
Every seat on both coaches has a seat belt, and UAE law says every passenger must wear one. The driver asks everyone to buckle up before moving off, even for a ten-minute hotel transfer. Our coaches are late-model, serviced to the manufacturer’s schedule and cleaned before every job.
Coach steps are higher than a car’s. If someone in the group has limited mobility, tell us when you book. The driver helps at the door and folding wheelchairs go in the hold. For anyone who would find the steps hard, we can send a car or a Mercedes V-Class alongside the coach on the same quote.
Book coaches early. Two weeks or more is sensible in the cooler months, when conferences, weddings and tour groups all want coaches on the same dates. You can also send the details on WhatsApp to +971 54 126 1681 or email info@dubaibusservices.com.
We collect from anywhere in Dubai. Hotels in Downtown, Dubai Marina, JBR and Palm Jumeirah. Schools, offices and venues in Al Barsha, Al Quoz, Dubai Media City and DIFC. Homes and hotels in Deira, Bur Dubai and Dubai Creek Harbour. Both airports, DXB and DWC. Wherever the group gathers, the coach is there ten minutes before the agreed time.

With us, a 22 to 30 seat mini coach starts from AED 1,100 per day and a 50-seater from AED 1,450 per day, each for up to 10 hours within Dubai with driver and fuel. Intercity days, extra hours and extra coaches are listed on your written quote.
We don’t run 32 or 40 seat buses. Our mini coach takes up to 30, so a group of 31 to 50 goes in the 50-seater, from AED 1,450 per day with driver and fuel. Your written quote confirms the exact price.
Yes. Fifty passenger seats, and the driver isn’t one of them. Include guides, teachers and staff in your count, and remember the luggage: the holds take roughly one medium suitcase per passenger.
No. Every coach we supply comes with a professional driver and fuel. Driving a full-size coach needs the right licence class, and a driver who already knows the hotel coach bays saves a group a lot of standing around.
On a day booking, yes. Waiting is part of the hours you book. The driver parks in coach parking or a permitted waiting area and is back at the meeting point at the time you set.
There’s no fixed limit, but each stop costs time. Two or three hotels close together are fine for a morning start. More than that and we’d suggest one gathering point, or two coaches collecting at the same time.
As soon as the dates and rough numbers are firm. In the cooler months, roughly October to April, two weeks ahead is sensible. If your numbers might still change, book the size you expect and adjust later. Changes and cancellations follow the terms on your written quote.
Every 50-seater has a PA system for a guide or host. In the mini coach a PA microphone is available on request. Mention it when you book and it will be checked before departure.
In Dubai people use the words loosely. We say “coach” for a vehicle built for comfort over distance, with reclining seats and real luggage space: the mini coach or the full-size 50-seater. A “minibus” is smaller, up to about sixteen seats.
Yes. Put every day in one request and you get one quote with each day and each coach listed. Ask for the same driver in the notes and we do our best to keep the same driver and vehicle for the whole programme.
