A fight night, and a late ride back.
PFL Dubai takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Coca-Cola Arena, in City Walk. The league lists its card times in US Eastern time, which puts the main card late at night in Dubai, and the Metro closes at midnight on a Saturday. For a visiting fan or a small group, the question is the evening: when the card starts, what the arena allows, and how to plan the ride back. Here is what is published, and where it conflicts.

The night
The league’s events page lists PFL Dubai on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Coca-Cola Arena. A report from Arab News on 29 October 2026 describes a 15-fight card with a heavyweight world title bout as the main event, and calls it the fourth PFL card in Dubai, run with the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism. We repeat that as reported and say nothing about the fighters.
We are not the league’s transport provider and not a partner of the event. We sell no tickets, print no ticket prices and make no comment on who will win.

Get a quoteThe card times, in Dubai time
The league lists the early card at 9 am Eastern Time and the main card at 1 pm Eastern Time. Our conversion: on 14 November the US is on standard time, which is five hours behind UTC, because US clocks went back on 1 November, and the UAE is four hours ahead of UTC with no daylight saving. That makes 9 am Eastern 18:00 in Dubai, and 1 pm Eastern 22:00 in Dubai.
This is our arithmetic and not the league’s notice. We found no doors time for this event, and no end time, so we print neither. Check the league and the arena’s notices, and use their times when they appear.
What the arena says about bags and getting in
Coca-Cola Arena’s own frequently asked questions list a maximum bag size of 30 cm by 30 cm. Backpacks, bottles, outside food, cameras, laptops, selfie sticks and strollers are not allowed. Larger bags can be left at a paid kiosk outside the arena. There is no re-entry, under-16s need an adult, the venue is cashless, and tickets must come from approved sellers. Check the arena’s latest notice for your event.
For a group, the bag rule is the one to plan around. A group that arrives straight from a day out with backpacks will have to leave them somewhere. Our Coca-Cola Arena transport page covers the venue basics for any show, and we do not repeat them here.
Getting there, and the Metro question
The arena is at City Walk, reached from Financial Centre Road and Sheikh Zayed Road. Its page says Dubai Mall / Burj Khalifa Metro station is a short walk, and that a drop-off-only zone sits in front of entrances A, B and C. It says there is no valet and limited paid parking, which is ticketless, uses plate recognition and is charged to Salik by default. It adds that event-day rates can differ from the posted hourly rates.
The Metro hours conflict. The arena’s page lists the Red Line running Saturday to Wednesday from 05:00 to 24:00 and Friday from 10:00. RTA’s own hours notice, issued for Ramadan on 16 February 2026, lists Monday to Thursday 05:00 to 24:00, Friday 05:00 to 01:00, Saturday 05:00 to 24:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 24:00. The arena’s table looks old, so we trust RTA’s notice, and we tell you to check RTA before you rely on any hours, since the notice we found was for a special period. On either account, 14 November is a Saturday and the Red Line closes at midnight.
A main card that starts at about 22:00 will run close to or past that hour, so a group should not plan to get home by Metro. See our guide to when to combine the Metro and a coach.
How far the arena is
These are approximate drive times from our routing model, built on OpenStreetMap data, with no traffic and no event closures.
| From | Distance to the arena | Approximate drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai Airport (DXB) | About 21.6 km | About 33 minutes. The arena says about 25 minutes |
| Downtown Dubai | About 3.4 km | About 6 minutes |
| Deira | About 11.9 km | About 13 minutes |
| Dubai Marina | About 25.8 km | About 27 minutes |
| Palm Jumeirah | About 26.4 km | About 28 minutes |
The arena’s figure for the airport is shorter than ours. We pick no winner, and we use the longer number when a flight is involved. Allow more on event night.
Planning a late finish
Plan the return first. Agree one collection point and one time with the group, in writing, and give the group a number to call if someone is delayed. The arena’s page says the drop-off zone is for drop-off only, so a vehicle cannot wait at an entrance, and we cannot promise a stop there. We agree a collection point with you that suits the arena’s rules.
If your group is staying in Downtown, the walk back is short. If it is staying in the Marina or on the Palm, the ride is about half an hour in free flow, and a late-night taxi queue at the same time as thousands of other people may be long. We cannot promise to beat it. A fixed time with a margin works better than a promise to meet “when it ends”. If your group flies the next morning, tell us the flight when you ask for a quote.
Choosing the vehicle
Our guide figures:
- Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers and 6 bags.
- 13-seater HiAce: up to 13 passengers and about 10 suitcases.
- Mercedes Sprinter: up to 16 passengers and up to 12 suitcases.
- 30-seater mini coach and 50-seater coach for fan clubs and tour groups.
How a booked vehicle fits
- Send the plan. The date, hotel area, party size and the time you want to be back.
- Ask for a fixed written quote. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Read the pick-up and drop-off arrangement. The quote states it, and we update it when the league or arena publishes its notices.
- Agree the return time. We plan the margin and tell you what is not yet published.
- Tell us if plans change. We adjust where we can, and cannot promise to beat traffic.
