What the fair says

The fair’s visitor information page gives Art Dubai 2027 as 7 to 11 April 2027 at Madinat Jumeirah. It calls Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 April the preview days, and Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April the public days. We found no ticket terms, no accreditation terms and no daily hours for the preview or public days, so we say nothing about who may enter on which day.

A fair blog post about applications for 2027 says the fair has five sections and a part called Art Dubai Extended, with large works in indoor, outdoor and transitional spaces of what it calls the Art Dubai campus. So a visit is not one hall, and a group may walk between several spaces. The post says the 2027 edition builds on the 2026 Special Edition. A press report says that edition ran from 14 to 17 May 2026 and set a public attendance record, so the 2027 date is back in April.

Several events in the region were postponed or cancelled in 2026. Check the fair’s notices before you book transport. If the dates change, we adjust a quote. We are not the fair’s transport provider and not a partner of the fair.

Where it is

The fair gives the address as Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Road, Al Sufouh 1. The resort’s own page gives King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, Umm Suqeim. The two forms differ, so we use “Madinat Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim” and ask you to confirm the entrance with the fair before the day.

It is on the west side of the city, near the coast.

How far it is, as modelled

The fair publishes no drive times, so these are our own. They come from OpenStreetMap routing with no traffic and no event closures, so they are modelled and approximate. The venue point is approximate, so treat each figure as plus or minus 15 percent and add time on a fair day.

The shape is simple. The west coast hotels are close, Downtown and Business Bay are a short run along the coast road, and the airports are a longer drive than the fair’s position might suggest.

What we could not find

The visitor information page carries dates and an address and nothing else about getting there. We could not find ticketing or public opening hours for 2027, a visitor transport page, parking or valet arrangements, a shuttle from the Metro, or any statement on whether a coach may enter the Madinat Jumeirah grounds. We do not guess at any of these.

Once the fair or the resort publishes an arrangement, we agree a drop-off point and a collection point with you and put them in your written quote. We cannot promise a stop at the entrance. Because the fair is spread across several spaces, ask the fair which entrance your group should use and tell us.

Planning the days

The fair has two kinds of day, so decide first which your group will attend, then plan the vehicle. Here is an example sum, not a promise. A party of 12 staying on Palm Jumeirah has a slot at 11:00. The modelled drive is about 18 minutes, so even with a generous margin for the coast road and the approach, leaving at about 10:00 is enough. Your slot, hotel and group size will change the sum.

Fix the return as a time and tell the group in writing. A group that visits several spaces on foot will want to know where the vehicle waits, so agree it in the quote and not on the day. Art Dubai Extended includes outdoor works. For April, older long-term averages from the World Meteorological Organization show a daytime high of about 32 C and a night low of about 20 C for Dubai. That is an old average and not a forecast, so check the forecast near your date. Sunrise and sunset on 15 April are about 05:57 and 18:41, by our calculation.

Choosing the vehicle

A team with crates or display material should tell us the number and size. Our guide figures:

• Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers and 6 bags.
• 13-seater HiAce: up to 13 passengers and about 10 suitcases.
• Mercedes Sprinter: up to 16 passengers and up to 12 suitcases.
• 30-seater mini coach and 50-seater coach for a museum or university party.

How a booked vehicle fits

1. Send the plan. Dates, hotel area, party size, large items and the days or slots you must make.
2. Ask for a fixed written quote. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
3. Read the pick-up and drop-off arrangement. The quote states it, and we update it when the fair publishes its notices.
4. Agree the return time. We plan the margin and tell you what is not yet published.
5. Tell us if plans change. We adjust where we can, and cannot promise to beat queues or traffic.
