A car with driver, for a week.
You rarely need a driver on all seven days. Most visitors do best with four or five full days and a transfer at each end. Here is a week that works, and what it costs.
The short answer
A week with a car and driver in Dubai is seven separate day bookings quoted together, each up to 10 hours with driver and fuel. The same driver and vehicle can stay with you all week, so the morning routine never changes. You do not have to book all seven days. Many visitors book the airport transfers and four or five days, then use taxis for short trips.
Our day rates start from AED 950 for an executive sedan, AED 1,100 for a luxury SUV and AED 1,150 for a Mercedes V-Class. Seven days is seven times the day rate as a starting point. The written quote confirms the figure for your dates and hours.

Get a quoteWhich days actually need a car
Dubai is spread out. Downtown, the Marina, Old Dubai and the Palm are each a 20 to 45 minute drive from the next, and in July the walk between a car park and a door is hot. A driver earns the fee on days with many stops, on days outside the city, and on days with children, bags or shopping.
A driver is less useful on a beach day at one hotel, or on a rest day. Take those off the list. You can always add a few hours on the day through our hourly chauffeur service if plans change.

Choosing the car for the whole week
You will be in the same car for seven days, so choose for comfort, and not just for the lowest day rate. One to three people: the sedan. A family of four to six with bags and a pram: the luxury SUV. Up to seven: the V-Class, where the seats face each other and everyone can talk. Children’s seats are free on request, so give us their ages when you book.
For bigger families or two couples travelling together, consider a van with driver instead of two cars.
What the week costs
Everything is quoted per day: vehicle, up to 10 hours, driver and fuel. Tolls (see Salik and Darb tolls) and parking are listed on the quote. Longer days, such as Abu Dhabi and back, can run past 10 hours, and the quote shows how extra time is handled.
Example: a couple books a sedan for four full days (days 2, 4, 6 and part of 7) plus the airport transfers at each end. The quote lists four days at the sedan day rate and two transfers, each shown separately so you can drop one without redoing the whole price.

Send the form on our booking page with your mobile number, your flight numbers, the days you want a car and where you are staying. We reply with a written quote that lists each day. Is a driver cheaper than renting a car for a week?
