Who plans a UK group trip

UK groups come from many places: golf and social clubs, church and charity parties, company teams, university societies and school tours. The person writing to us is often a volunteer organiser who has never been to Dubai. This page is for that person. We keep the plan plain and the paperwork in writing.

We supply vehicles with drivers only. We do not sell tours, tickets, visas or hotel rooms.

The time difference and what it does to planning

Dubai does not change its clocks. When the UK is on GMT, in winter, Dubai is 4 hours ahead. When the UK is on summer time, Dubai is 3 hours ahead. A 08:00 pickup in Dubai is 04:00 or 05:00 in the UK, which matters when you message the organiser at home. We write every time in UAE local time, and suggest the group leader sends both versions to the party.

Evening flights and morning arrivals

Flights from London take about 7 to 8 hours. The common pattern is an evening departure and a morning arrival, around 06:00 to 08:00 in Dubai. The group steps off tired, with a full day ahead and a hotel room that may not be ready until the afternoon.

Plan for it. Either arrange early check-in with the hotel, or schedule a gentle first morning, such as breakfast and a short drive. The driver tracks the actual landing time from your flight number, so a late aircraft is covered. Coach comfort for a long first day

On a day after a night flight, comfort matters. The 50-seater coach has reclining seats and a cold cabin. The mini coach is warmer to the eye and easier to park. For a small club of 12 or fewer, a 13-seater van is often the better size.

Starting rates cover a full day of up to 10 hours with driver and fuel. The written quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours.

Luggage allowances and the hold

UK airlines usually allow one checked bag per person on long-haul, sometimes two. A 50-seater coach holds about one medium suitcase per passenger. A group with golf bags, band instruments or sports kit needs extra space. Send us the real bag count and the size of anything unusual.

Heat, dress and the winter sun

UK groups tend to come in winter, when Dubai is pleasantly warm. Summer visits are very hot, with high humidity, and the plan should keep outdoor time short. Remind the group that mosques and heritage sites ask for modest dress. Check with each venue for its current rules.

Example: a 32-person club trip, five days

This is an example only. A social club of 32 flies from the UK on an evening flight. A 50-seater coach meets them at DXB, takes them to a hotel in Dubai Marina and returns on day three for a city tour and day four for a trip to Abu Dhabi, about 1.5 hours each way. The group departs on day five.

Paying and communicating from the UK

Quotes are in AED. Convert at your bank’s rate when you compare with sterling prices. We reply in English by email or WhatsApp. Please send names, flight numbers, hotels and the bag count in writing. Entry rules change, and we do not give visa advice, so check the official ICP and GDRFA sites and your airline.

Prices for these vehicles

Starting prices with driver and fuel, within Dubai. Hourly hire has a minimum number of hours, confirmed on your quote. Monthly prices are for a daily staff route; the route, hours and working days are confirmed on your quote. Your written quote gives the exact price for your date and route.
