Groups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Dubai tour transport for German groups.

A group leader from Germany, Austria or Switzerland usually wants three things from a Dubai coach: the time on the paper is the time the coach leaves, the day is written down, and the stops are planned. Here is how we set that up.

What a German-speaking group leader needs to decide first

You are probably not booking a coach. You are booking a programme: arrival, three or four days of sightseeing, a desert evening, maybe a day trip to Abu Dhabi, and a departure. The transport has to fit that programme without surprises, and the decisions you make first are the size of the vehicle, the number of pick-up points and the hours you will really need each day.

We are a transport company with drivers. We do not sell tours, tickets, hotel rooms or visas, so your tour operator or your own agency stays in charge of the programme. What you get from us is the vehicle, the driver, fuel and the timings, written down and priced before you confirm.

Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.

Punctuality: what the time on the paper means

Groups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland often tell us that a start time is a start time. We plan that way. The driver arrives ten minutes before the agreed pick-up, the engine is running and the cabin is cool, and the departure time on your plan is the time the doors close.

The other half of punctuality is on your side. Dubai hotels can take a long time to move forty people through breakfast and a lift. A common fix is to set the coach time ten minutes after the group-leader time, so the leader has a gap and the coach never waits with the clock running. We will set the times you give us, and we will say so if a time looks tight for the route.

The written itinerary we ask for, and the one we send back

Send us the date, the headcount, every pick-up and drop-off address, the hours you want and a rough programme. We answer with a written quote that names the vehicle size, the hours, and what is included: driver, fuel, and the tolls, parking and waiting allowance for your route.

Once you confirm, the day plan is a simple list of times and places, in English. Keep a copy on your phone and one on paper for the group leader. If your own programme is in German, send it as it is. We read the times and addresses from it and confirm them back to you in English so nothing is lost in translation. We do not promise a German-speaking driver, so plan on English for the driver and your own leader for the group.

Rest stops and comfort on long days

Most Dubai days are short drives between sights, so the rest stop is usually the sight itself. Long days are different. A run to Abu Dhabi is about 1.5 hours each way, and German groups often add a stop at a mall or a fuel station with clean facilities on the way. Tell us at booking if you want one, and say how long the group usually needs. Fifteen to twenty minutes for forty people is realistic, because the queue at the ladies’ room decides the length.

The 50-seat coach has reclining seats, seat belts, curtains and a PA system for the group leader. A mini coach suits groups up to about 30 and gets into narrower hotel entrances. Both run with air-conditioning that is switched on before you board, which matters in a Dubai afternoon.

How many vehicles for a German tour group

Count the guests, then the group leader, the local guide if you have one, and the extras. Then count the suitcases. A tour group on a ten-day trip with a coat for the mountains and a bag for the beach brings real luggage, so ask the group how many cases each person has before you pick a vehicle.

Starting prices are for a full day of up to 10 hours with driver and fuel. Your written quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours. The smaller vehicles are more expensive per seat than a mini coach, so for 17 to 30 guests a mini coach is usually the sensible size even if the group is small.

An example day: the group of 38 in a 50-seater

Example only, not a fixed offer

A tour group of 38 from southern Germany spends one full day in the city. The coach collects at the hotel at 08:30, drives to the old town area for a walk, then to a lunch stop, then to the tallest tower for a booked entry time that the tour operator holds. The afternoon is free time at a mall. The coach waits, then takes the group to the hotel by 17:30.

That is under 10 hours, so the day rate applies. At the starting price on this page the example comes to AED 1,450, and the written quote may differ with your hours and route. The group leader has the driver’s details by the evening before. The only thing that changes the number is overtime, which is billed by the hour and listed on the quote.

Mixing airport waves into a tour week

German groups often fly together, but not always. A big party can be split across two flights, or a few guests arrive a day early. For a group arriving in waves, use the planning notes in our big group arrival at DXB guide. For the airport leg itself, see Dubai airport transfers for groups.

If the hotel is in the Marina, see DXB to Dubai Marina. The flight from Frankfurt or Munich takes about 6 to 7 hours, and Dubai is 2 to 3 hours ahead of Germany depending on the season. Check your airline for the exact schedule. The driver tracks the landing time you give us, so an early or late aircraft moves the pick-up with it.

Planning around heat, prayer and Friday

From November to March the weather suits long outdoor days. In summer most groups schedule indoor stops from late morning to late afternoon, and the coach cabin becomes a cool break between them. Ramadan and the public holidays that follow it change opening hours and traffic, and the dates move each year. Check the organiser or venue for dates, opening hours and entry rules.

Friday has its own pattern, with the midday prayer period affecting some venues and a busier road network in the afternoon. Tell us the date and the plan and we flag any timing that needs a buffer. See the peak season guide for the busiest weeks.

Rules for the driver, the leader and the group

Who does what is simple on a good day. The driver drives, handles the luggage hold and keeps the vehicle ready. The group leader counts heads at every stop and holds the programme. The local guide, if you have one, speaks on the PA. We do not run the programme and we do not make changes to a route without telling you first.

If you want a quote that covers a few days with the same vehicle and driver, put every day in one request. You can see how the quote is built in what is in a bus rental quote, and the price page shows every starting rate. When you are ready, ask for a fixed written quote.

Frequently asked.

Quick answers for this trip.

Do you have German-speaking drivers?

We do not promise that. Our drivers work in English, and we confirm every time and address in writing. Bring your own group leader or guide for German, and send your programme so we can match the times.

How far ahead should a group from Germany book?

As soon as dates and rough numbers are firm. In the cooler months, roughly October to April, two weeks or more is sensible, and longer for groups over 50. If numbers may change, book the size you expect and adjust later under the terms on your written quote.

What does the quote include?

Driver, fuel and air-conditioning, plus the tolls, parking and waiting allowance for the route you described. Overtime and extra stops are listed separately. The written quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours.

Can the same coach and driver stay for the whole trip?

Put every day in one request and ask for the same driver in the notes. We do our best to keep the same driver and vehicle, though we do not promise it for every day.

Can we add a rest stop on long drives?

Yes. Tell us where and how long. A stop of 15 to 20 minutes suits most groups of 30 to 50 and is billed within the hours you book.

How is luggage handled?

The 50-seater has underfloor holds for about one medium suitcase per passenger, and the mini coach has a rear luggage area for around twenty medium suitcases. Send the real number of bags for each flight, since airline allowances differ.

Can you meet us at the airport with a name board?

Yes, on request. Send the flight numbers and the name for the board. The driver tracks the landing time.

Do you give visa advice?

No. Entry rules change, so check with your airline or the official UAE immigration sites (ICP and GDRFA) for your passport and dates.

Send the programme. We’ll size the coach.
