Boat show week, the airport to the Harbour

A sales team, a crew or a buyer group arrives from abroad, sleeps in one part of town and works in another. The legs that matter are airport to hotel, hotel to the Harbour and back at night. This page maps them and names the public options first.

A five-day show for people who work it

The Dubai International Boat Show runs from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November 2026 at Dubai Harbour, from 15:00 to 20:00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and from 15:00 to 21:00 on Friday and Saturday. The organiser is Dubai World Trade Centre. The show was first planned for April 2026 and the organiser now lists November, so older documents may carry the wrong dates. Check the organiser’s current page.

The organiser describes features such as Superyacht Avenue, Marina Display, Marine Luxury and Lifestyle, Marine Gadgets and Equipment, a Dive Zone, an Innovation Zone and a Captains and Crew Lounge. We use the names only. We know nothing about the exhibitors and we do not offer charter, sales or brokerage of any kind. We provide passenger transport.

We could not find the hours when exhibitors may enter for set-up, or any badge or access rules for teams. Ask your stand contact or the organiser for those. We plan transport around the dates you give us.

The public options, first

Plan with the organiser’s transport before you think about ours. Its pages name shuttle pick-up points at Skydive Dubai, Al Khail Metro Station, Nakheel Monorail Parking and Mina Seyahi Tram Station, with free visitor parking at Skydive Dubai and paid park and ride from Monorail parking. The same pages list taxi and ride-hailing, and the Metro runs on the RTA timetable.

Those pages also carry shuttle times from the April plan and parking days from 2025, so we give no November times and no last-service hour. For a team carrying cases and display material, a shuttle chain with two changes is a poor fit, and a taxi may not hold six people and luggage. That is the gap a pre-booked vehicle fills.

From the airport to the Harbour

Dubai Harbour sits between Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters, and the organiser places it roughly equidistant from Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC). Our routing model, which is approximate, has no traffic and may not include the new RTA bridge to the Harbour, gives these figures.

FromTo Dubai HarbourDistance, about
DXB Terminal 325 to 30 minutes35 km
DWC Al Maktoum35 to 45 minutes35 km
Sharjah airport40 to 50 minutes60 km
Abu Dhabi airport55 to 70 minutes100 km

Allow more on show days, and more still when a flight lands late or a group waits for bags. A meet-and-greet in arrivals and a driver who tracks the flight cut that risk. Our airport transfer page explains how, and the big group arrival guide covers a team that lands in pieces. If your flight uses the second airport, read the Al Maktoum transfer page.

A plan across five days

Teams tend to have three kinds of journey. The arrival, the daily run to the Harbour and the departure. The show opens at 15:00, which leaves the morning free for hotel check-in, a meeting or a site visit, and the evening finish at 20:00 or 21:00 leaves the late-night leg.

  • Arrival day: airport to hotel, with the pick-up timed to landing, not to a fixed clock.
  • Show days: hotel to the Harbour by about 14:30, and a return at a set time after closing. Different people may want different return times, so say so when you ask for the quote.
  • Departure day: hotel to the airport. Our night and early flight timing guide helps if you leave at an awkward hour.

For sizes, a small sales team fits a Mercedes V-Class. A booth crew of eight to thirteen fits a 13-seater van or a Mercedes Sprinter. A larger delegation sits in a 30-seater mini coach or a 50-seater coach. Not sure which one? Compare the vehicle types.

One quote for all the legs

We are Dubai Bus Services. We are not the organiser’s transport provider and we do not work under its banner. The booking states the pick-up point, the time, the stops and the hours, and one written quote can cover airport, hotel and Harbour runs for the whole week.

We do not know whether a coach, minibus or chauffeur car may stop at a given point at the Harbour. We agree the drop-off point against the organiser’s current access plan before the day and do not assume a bay.

A passenger list helps. Use our passenger list template to collect names, flights and hotels before you write to us. If your company wants a named account for repeat trips, see the corporate chauffeur service.

Before you travel

Entry rules depend on your passport. Check the UAE government’s visa page, and read your own government’s travel advice page, before you book. We do not give visa advice.

Late November is peak season, so larger vehicles go early. To ask for a quote, send flight numbers, dates, head count, hotel area and the time you want to leave the Harbour through the booking page.
