Automechanika Dubai runs from 10 to 12 November 2026, and after 22 editions at the Dubai World Trade Centre it has moved to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City. For a supplier delegation or a fleet buyer flying in from Germany, the UK, the USA or Japan, the road is different this year. Here is what the organiser and the venue publish, and how to plan the hotel, airport and show days.
The show and the move
The organiser, Messe Frankfurt, lists Automechanika Dubai from 10 to 12 November 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 on all three days, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. The venue’s own listing shows North Halls and South Halls. After 22 editions at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this is the show’s first year at the new venue.
The show is for trade professionals only, and the organiser says people under 18 are not allowed into the halls. We are not the organiser’s transport provider and not a partner of the show. If its notices and ours differ, follow the organiser.
The same week, according to a search summary that we did not open at the organiser, GESS Dubai also runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 10 to 12 November. If your group has meetings at both, plan the two venues as separate journeys.

Get a quoteWhat the organiser says about getting there
The organiser’s page lists direct Metro access via Expo 2020 Station, a linear hall layout and more than 10,000 parking slots. The venue’s visitor FAQ, quoted on the organiser’s page, says the centre is about 40 km from Dubai International, with a drive of around 35 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Road access is via Expo Road (E77) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), and Expo 2020 Station is a short walk. The organiser says the venue is about 20 minutes from Dubai Marina and 30 minutes from Downtown, and connected to the Red Line.
Our own routing model, built on OpenStreetMap data with no traffic, gives about 52 km and about 56 minutes from Dubai Airport. We pick no winner. These are approximate. A show morning, when many visitors arrive at once, will add time near the venue.
What is not published
We found no coach drop-off area at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, no show shuttle and no parking arrangements for groups on the pages we opened on 30 October 2026. We do not call any shuttle “official”, and we cannot promise a stop at the entrance. We agree a drop-off point and a collection point with you once the organiser or the venue publishes them, and we put them in your written quote.
We also print no visitor numbers. Different sources give different figures, and none helps a transport plan.
Planning the show days
A delegation usually needs three runs: the airport to the hotel on arrival, a morning run from the hotel to the show, and an evening return, with the airport again at the end. Keep the morning run simple. Pick one departure time, tell the group in writing, and do not wait for latecomers: they can use the Metro, which the organiser describes as a short walk from the station.
For the evening, show days run to 18:00 and many visitors leave together. Agree a collection point and a time, with a margin. If your group has dinners across the city, tell us the venues when you ask for a quote.
Many delegations from Europe fly in the day before. Allow for the drive from the airport to the hotel, and a margin before an early appointment.
