Al Mamzar at 6:45 am, planned backwards.
The Dubai T100 Triathlon runs from 13 to 15 November 2026 and has moved to Al Mamzar, after two editions at Meydan. The races start early, the venue is at the Deira end of the city, and several details are still to be confirmed. Here is what the organiser has published, what it has not, and how a group of athletes or supporters can plan the mornings.

The race weekend
Dubai T100 runs from 13 to 15 November 2026. The organiser calls it the third Dubai edition and the penultimate stop of the nine-race T100 season. The weekend is part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from 31 October to 29 November 2026. Last year at Meydan, the organiser reports about 8,000 amateur participants and more than 15,000 spectators over the weekend.
The 100 km race is a 2 km swim, an 80 km bike and an 18 km run. The organiser also lists an Olympic-distance option for amateurs, with a 1.5 km swim, a 40 km bike and a 10 km run, and relay options. The women’s professional race is listed for Saturday 14 November.
We are not the organiser’s transport provider and not a partner of the event. If its notices and ours ever differ, follow the organiser.

Get a quoteThe new venue, Al Mamzar
The organiser’s release says the swim is at the Al Mamzar beaches. The bike route goes through Al Hamriya Port, over the Infinity Bridge past Port Rashid, and back to Al Mamzar. The run is on the shaded paths of Al Mamzar Park. Al Mamzar is on the Deira side of Dubai, near the border with Sharjah.
One thing to watch: the organiser’s event-information page still describes last year’s set-up, with the race pack, expo and finish at Meydan and a shuttle from Meydan to the beach start. The newer press release and the “New Location” banner say Al Mamzar. We follow the release, and we say nothing here about where the race pack is collected, where the finish is or whether a shuttle runs, because the organiser has not confirmed them. Race pack collection and the mandatory bike check-in were both marked “to be confirmed” when we checked on 30 October 2026.
Start times, as published
On the participant page, the Saturday Olympic-distance race starts at 6:45 am. On Sunday the 100 km race starts at 6:45 am and the Sprint at 10:45 am. The page says times can change once the road-closure times are final, and full timings are still to be confirmed. Do not book a vehicle for a time you have not seen in the organiser’s final instructions.
The practical point is the clock. For a 6:45 am start, most athletes will want to be at the venue well before, to set up and warm up. We do not publish an arrival time, because the organiser has not given one for Al Mamzar. Ask the organiser, then work backwards.
How far the beach is
These are approximate drive times from our routing model, built on OpenStreetMap data, with no traffic and no road closures. Race mornings will add time, and the bike route closes roads along the way. We have no closure list for 2026.
| From | Distance to Al Mamzar Beach | Approximate drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai Airport (DXB) | About 17 km | About 30 minutes |
| Deira | About 8 km | About 10 minutes |
| Downtown Dubai | About 19 km | About 20 minutes |
| Dubai Marina | About 41 km | About 40 minutes |
| Palm Jumeirah | About 42 km | About 41 minutes |
Add time for closures, for the approach to the venue and for the drop-off. For an early start, the roads are quiet until they close, and nobody has published how the approach will work.
Planning the mornings
A group usually needs three things: one pick-up point and time at the hotel, a drop-off point agreed with the organiser’s access plan, and a collection point and time after the finish. The organiser has published no parking, spectator area or drop-off plan for Al Mamzar yet, and no Metro information that we could open, so we agree the points with you when it does. We cannot promise a stop at the venue entrance.
Athletes carry a lot: kit bags, wetsuits, helmets, and bikes. Our passenger vehicles are not bike carriers, and we publish no bike capacity. If your group travels with bikes, tell us before you book and we say honestly what is possible.
For supporters, the day is long. A fixed return time, agreed with the group, beats a promise to “be back when it finishes”. See our Dubai Run guide for how a race morning with road closures works, and the Dubai Marathon runner and spectator guide for a January race.
The same month
Dubai is busy in the second half of November. The Dubai International Boat Show runs from 25 to 29 November, the Emirates Dubai 7s runs from 27 to 29 November, and the Dubai Fitness Challenge fills the whole month. If your group extends its stay, see our Boat Show transport and Dubai 7s group transport pages. For the airport end, see when to combine the Metro and a coach.
Choosing the vehicle
Our guide figures:
- Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers and 6 bags.
- 13-seater HiAce: up to 13 passengers and about 10 suitcases.
- Mercedes Sprinter: up to 16 passengers and up to 12 suitcases.
- 30-seater mini coach and 50-seater coach for clubs, teams and tour groups.
Count the kit bags with the people, because a race group fills a vehicle faster than a sightseeing group of the same size.
How a booked vehicle fits
- Send the plan. Dates, hotel area, party size, the race you enter or watch and the start time from the organiser.
- Ask for a fixed written quote. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Read the pick-up and drop-off arrangement. The quote states it, and we update it when the organiser publishes its notices.
- Agree the return time. We plan the margin and tell you what is not yet published.
- Tell us if plans change. We adjust where we can, and cannot promise to beat traffic or closures.
