Dubai by month: heat and daylight.
When you plan a coach day in Dubai, two numbers decide the timetable: how hot the day gets and how long the light lasts. This page gives you both for every month from November 2026 to October 2027. The temperatures are older long-term averages from a national weather-service table, and the sunrise and sunset times are our own modelled figures. Use them to place the start, the stops and the return, and then check the forecast close to your date.

Where the numbers come from
The temperatures come from the World Meteorological Organization’s World Weather Information Service, which lists Dubai with the UAE National Center of Meteorology as the member. It gives a mean daily maximum and a mean daily minimum for each calendar month. The entry is old, and the page does not state the period behind the temperatures, so treat the figures as long-term averages. They are not this year’s weather, and they do not tell you what a given week will do.
The sunrise and sunset times are modelled by us with the standard NOAA solar equations for central Dubai, using UTC+4 and no daylight saving. We cross-checked three dates against a public sunrise service, and they agreed within about a minute. Read every time as approximate, to the nearest minute.
For the real forecast, use the National Center of Meteorology at ncm.gov.ae. We could not read its bulletins in a usable form, so we quote nothing from it.

Months run in trip order, from November 2026. Sunrise, sunset and daylight are for the 15th of each month.

| October 2027 | 35.1 C | 22.7 C | 06:16 | 17:53 | 11 h 36 min |
Two edge dates are worth knowing. In our model the earliest sunset of the period is about 17:29, from late November to 2 December, and the latest sunrise is about 07:06, in mid January.
What the table does not tell you
It gives no humidity, no sea temperature and no forecast, and we could not source any of them, so we do not give them. It also does not rank the months, because that depends on what your group wants to do.
The averages are also for the city. A day in the mountains near Hatta, or in the desert, will not match them. If your day leaves the city, ask us what the timetable looks like, and check the forecast for the place you are visiting.
Planning a day: examples
These are examples only, and your group, route and stops will change the sums. Take mid December: sunrise at 06:57, sunset at 17:31, and a mean high of 26.2 C. A group that starts at 08:00 and wants to finish at 17:00 gets about nine hours, and the light fades half an hour after the planned finish. If the last stop closes at 17:00 and the drive back is 40 minutes, the return is in the dusk. Plan the photo stops before the last stop.
Now mid July: sunrise at 05:38, sunset at 19:12, and a mean high of 40.6 C. The light lasts almost 13 and a half hours, so there is no need to finish early for daylight. The timetable is set by the temperature, not by the clock. Our summer trip pacing guide shows how a summer day can be split.
A longer drive changes the sum. Our model gives about 85 minutes and 109.5 km from Downtown Dubai to the Hatta Wadi Hub area, with no traffic. A 07:00 start would reach it at about 08:25. In mid December that is shortly after sunrise at 06:57, and in mid June it is almost three hours after sunrise at 05:28. See our Hatta full-day trip guide for the day itself.
Choosing the vehicle
Heat and light change the day plan, not the vehicle choice, which depends on headcount and bags. Our guide figures:
- Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers and 6 bags.
- 13-seater HiAce: up to 13 passengers and about 10 suitcases.
- Mercedes Sprinter: up to 16 passengers and up to 12 suitcases.
- 30-seater mini coach and 50-seater coach for larger groups.
We supply the vehicle and a driver. A licensed guide can be arranged for a fee: ask when you request a quote. For a full programme, read our incentive group day timing plan and the peak season guide for the busy winter months.
How a booked vehicle fits
- Send the plan. Dates, hotel area, party size, the stops and the time you want to be back.
- Ask for a fixed written quote. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Read the pick-up and drop-off arrangement. The quote states it, and we update it when a venue publishes one.
- Agree the return time. We plan the margin and tell you what is not yet published.
- Tell us if plans change. We adjust where we can, and cannot promise to beat traffic.

Frequently asked.
Quick answers for this trip.
How hot is Dubai in July?
An older long-term table from the UAE National Center of Meteorology, shown by the WMO, gives a mean daily high of 40.6 C and a mean low of 28.9 C for July. It is an average, not a forecast.
How cool is Dubai in January?
The same table gives a mean daily high of 24.0 C and a mean low of 13.7 C for January. Check the forecast close to your date.
When does the sun set in December?
Our model gives sunset at about 17:31 on 15 December, with sunrise at 06:57. Daylight is about 10 h 34 min, the shortest of the period.
How long is the longest day?
Our model gives about 13 h 41 min on 15 June, with sunrise at 05:28 and sunset at 19:10.
Are these this year’s temperatures?
No. They are older long-term averages, and the reference period is not stated. We do not use them as a forecast. The National Center of Meteorology publishes the forecast.
How accurate are the sunrise and sunset times?
They are modelled with the NOAA solar equations for central Dubai and cross-checked against a public service for three dates, where they agreed within about a minute. Treat them as approximate.
Does the table cover the mountains?
No. It is for the city. Check the forecast for the place you are visiting.
Can you plan the day around sunset?
Yes. Tell us the sunset or finish time you want when you ask for a quote, and we plan the pick-up and return around it.
How do I get a price?
Ask for a fixed written quote through the booking form with the date, hotel area, party size and return time. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
