GITEX Global 2026 | From South Korea

GITEX transport for Korean delegations

Korea is 5 hours ahead of the UAE and the flight is about 10 hours. Korean teams value a plan that runs to the minute, so we start from the schedule and work back to the vehicles.

Coach for a delegation visiting Dubai

Start with the schedule, then the vehicle

Korean delegations often arrive with a printed itinerary that lists every meeting, every meal and every transfer. That suits us. Send the itinerary and we build the transport plan on top of it, so the pickup times, venues and return times match what your leader already has in hand.

The cleanest way to start is a single page with five lines: arrival flight, headcount, hotel, daily show hours and the evening commitments. We answer with a written plan in UAE local time. If you change any line, we reissue the whole plan, so there is only one version in circulation.

Ten hours in the air and a five hour jump

Seoul is on UTC+9 and the UAE is on UTC+4. Korea is 5 hours ahead. A flight of about 10 hours means a late-evening departure from Seoul at 23:00 reaches Dubai at about 04:00 the next morning, and a mid-morning departure at 10:00 reaches Dubai at about 15:00 the same afternoon. Overnight flights from Korea commonly land in the early hours. Check your airline for schedules and any direct service on your dates.

After 10 hours of flying, a team arriving at 04:00 needs a vehicle waiting without any delay, a hotel that will let them in or hold their bags, and a quiet start to the day. Ask the hotel about early check-in, and tell us if the group wants to go straight to the venue instead.

Pavilions, startups and the Korean exhibitor presence

Korean companies and startup groups have a visible presence at GITEX in recent years, and they often come together under a national or regional pavilion arranged by a trade body. That means a coordinator, a shared schedule and a shared transport need. If your group is part of such a programme, send us the coordinator's contact and the pavilion arrival date, and we arrange vehicles for the whole group as one booking.

A 30-seater mini coach, which starts from AED 1,100 for a full day with driver and fuel, suits a larger pavilion party. A Mercedes Sprinter suits a team of ten to fourteen. The delegation bus hire guide sets out how we plan the daily loop.

Language and the written note

English is workable for most business travel from Korea, but a pickup note is easier to follow in the first language. Send us the briefing in Korean and we translate the pickup note. The driver is briefed in English from our side, and the translated note stays with your booking.

Cards matter. Korean business culture puts weight on exchanging cards properly, usually with both hands, and teams bring many. Carry them in the cabin bag, not in the checked suitcase, in case a bag is delayed.

Meals, timing and the kit you carry

Korean teams often like a hot, sit-down meal at the end of a long day, and the choice of restaurant matters. Send us the restaurant name and reservation time. We schedule the pickup from Expo City with enough margin for the drive and for the possibility that the hall empties at the same moment as everyone else's.

The drive to Expo City is about 25 to 40 minutes from Dubai Marina and JBR, about 35 to 50 minutes from Downtown, Business Bay and DIFC, about 30 to 40 minutes from Al Barsha, and about 35 to 50 minutes from DXB. The evening networking page explains how we plan late runs after the show closes.

Hardware startups and electronics firms bring demo units, sample cases and display stands. Count the number and size and send them with the headcount. A van that seats ten comfortably may seat six once a stack of cases is loaded.

Our exhibitor team transport page describes how we pair people and kit, and the airport to Expo City guide covers going straight from DXB to the venue with equipment.

Seeing the Grand Prix on the way

Some Korean visitors add the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 3 to 6 December at Yas Marina Circuit to the front of the trip. Check the official schedule for the sessions. We do not sell tickets. From Dubai Marina to Yas is about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 in normal traffic, and race days run slower. See our Dubai to Yas guide.

When the day shifts

Meetings overrun, a buyer asks for a second conversation, a stand needs a repair. A fixed plan can still bend. Name one person on the Korean side who can approve a change, and one phone number that works in the UAE. We then deal with that person only, so the driver never receives two instructions.

If the delay is under an hour, the vehicle waits and the extra time goes on the quote after the event. If the change is bigger, such as moving a dinner to another part of the city, we tell you the effect on the following pickups before we confirm. Korean groups tend to want to know the consequence first, and we would rather say it than hide it. The return to Seoul follows the same logic: allow about 35 to 50 minutes from Expo City to DXB, more at the close of the show on Friday 11 December, and check your airline for the check-in time.

Entry rules, and how to ask for the quote

Entry rules change. We do not give visa advice. Check with your airline or the official UAE immigration sites, ICP and GDRFA. The quote is in dirhams and lists the vehicle, hours, driver, fuel and any Salik charges.

Send the itinerary and ask for a fixed written quote on the booking page.

Frequently asked.

Quick answers for this trip.

When does a 23:00 flight from Seoul land in Dubai?

At about 04:00 the next morning on a flight of about 10 hours, because Korea is 5 hours ahead of the UAE. Check your airline for the exact time. We track the flight and time the pickup to the landing.

Can you work from our printed itinerary?

Yes. Send it and we build a written transport plan in UAE local time that matches each meeting and meal. If the itinerary changes, we reissue the full plan so only one version is in use.

Can the pickup note be in Korean?

Send us the briefing in Korean and we translate the pickup note. The driver is briefed in English from our side. The translated note stays with the booking for your coordinator.

What vehicle fits a pavilion party of twenty?

A 30-seater mini coach fits twenty with luggage room. If you carry many cases, tell us the number and we may suggest a coach or a second vehicle. The final choice is on the quote.

A flight lands at 04:00. Can the driver be there?

Yes. Tell us the flight number and we track it, and we time the driver to the actual landing. We also suggest asking the hotel about early check-in or holding bags, as that depends on the hotel.

How do we arrange a group dinner after the show?

Send the restaurant and reservation time. We plan the pickup from Expo City with a margin, and we confirm the return trip to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Are there direct flights from Seoul?

Check your airline for schedules on your dates. We take the flight number you give us and plan from there, whether it is direct or connecting, and we adjust the pickup if the landing time moves on the day.

Do you sell Grand Prix tickets?

No. We provide transport only. Check the official schedule for 3 to 6 December at Yas Marina Circuit and buy tickets from the official channels. If you want transport to Yas on a race day, ask for a separate quote.

Do you give visa advice?

No. Entry rules change. Check with your airline or the official UAE immigration sites, ICP and GDRFA, before booking flights and hotels for the team. We cannot confirm what applies to your passports.
