A boat show brings buyers, owners and their guests to one waterfront site where space is tight, so the transport plan is about arriving cleanly and leaving on time.

The Dubai International Boat Show used to sit in the spring calendar. The organiser now lists the 32nd edition for 25 to 29 November 2026 at Dubai Harbour, and describes November as the permanent slot. That puts it into the early part of the Dubai winter season, when hotels start to fill and the weather suits long days outdoors.
The audience is mixed. There are marine trade buyers, boat builders and brokers, owners and their guests, and charter clients. Trade registration and public tickets are handled by the organiser, and we neither sell nor check them. We move the group from the hotel to the harbour and back.

Get a quoteDubai Harbour is a newer waterfront district between Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina, built around the marina and the cruise terminal. Parking and access around a marina show can be tight, so the organiser sets where vehicles may stop for drop-off. Ask them for the visitor and hospitality drop-off points, and the exhibitor access route if you are on a stand.
This is why a single vehicle with a driver who knows when to arrive is more useful than five cars looking for a space. A coach drops the group at the allowed point, leaves, and returns at the agreed time. If the group is small, one V-Class does the same job.
Many boat show guests stay in Dubai Marina, JBR or on the Palm, which are the closest hotel areas to the Harbour. The hop is short in distance, but the roads between them carry coastal traffic, and the time varies with the hour and the day. We do not quote a minute count. Ask us for a pickup time once you tell us the hotel and the time you want to be on site.
For guests from further away, such as Downtown or Business Bay, the drive is longer and more dependent on the morning and evening peaks. The earlier plan is almost always the better one. See our DXB to Dubai Marina transfer page for how the airport leg to the same area works.
| Group | Typical size | Transport that suits |
|---|---|---|
| Trade buyer delegation | 10 to 30 | Sprinter or mini coach on a daily loop |
| Yacht owner and guests | 4 to 7 | V-Class or luxury SUV |
| Corporate hospitality party | 15 to 40 | Coach for staff, cars for key clients |
| Exhibitor team | 6 to 14 | 13-seater van, early and late |
If you host guests, see our VIP events service. The look of the car matters to some hosts. The Rolls-Royce is available for those who want it, and the quote lists it clearly.
Yacht charter guests often arrive on a tight schedule: a boarding time at the marina, a sunset cruise, a dinner on board. The vehicle’s job is to deliver the party to the right gate at the right time. Ask the charter operator for the berth, the gate and the boarding time, then send them to us.
Dress and luggage differ from other trips. Guests carry swimwear, a change of clothes and sometimes a gift. Soft bags are easier than hard cases on a boat, and the driver can hold a spare set of towels or water on request if you tell us before the day.
This is an example to show the shape of a booking, not a quote. The group of 14 is above the 13-seater van and below the Sprinter’s limit of 16, so a Mercedes Sprinter takes everyone with space for brochures. The driver collects them at the hotel each morning at the time agreed, drops them at the show’s allowed drop-off and returns at the set time.
The Sprinter starts from AED 2,450 per day for a full day of up to 10 hours with driver and fuel, per our price page. Three show days would start from AED 7,350 as an example of multiplying that figure. If the group only needs a morning and an evening run, ask for an hourly or half-day basis in the quote, since the written quote confirms the exact price for your dates, route and hours.
Boat shows end in the evening with a sunset crowd, and the harbour roads fill up as people leave. The group leader can ease this by setting a return a little before the close or a little after the crowd has gone. Both work, and the second leaves time for one more drink on the quay.
On the first day, allow extra for security and the drop-off queue. On the last day, bring luggage to the hotel lobby before you leave, so the airport run can follow without a detour. If a charter runs late, the driver waits and the hours are shown on the quote.
The boat show falls in the same week as Big 5 Global at DWTC (23 to 26 November), and a mixed group may attend both. See our Big 5 Global delegate guide if your party includes contractors or architects. The Rugby Sevens weekend follows, as the Dubai Rugby Sevens guide explains, so expect busy hotels from late November.
Send the dates, the hotel, the number of people, the days you will be on site, the drop-off point you have been given and the number of bags. If the group has a charter, send the boarding time. We reply with a fixed written quote in AED. The booking page takes the details and the price page shows starting rates.
