Dubai Frame, planned for a group.
A tour leader or school organiser has two questions about Dubai Frame: how does a group get in, and what does the venue ask of us on the day? This page gives what the Frame publishes about group requests, lead times, bags and arrival, says plainly what it does not publish (including anywhere for a coach to stop), and shows how one vehicle fits the visit.

What Dubai Frame says about groups
The Frame’s own site lists a travel-trade request form for arranging tourist group visits and says it answers within 48 hours. Separate service pages cover schools and universities, official delegations and corporate events in the garden area. The lead times it asks for are in the facts table above: seven days for schools, universities and official delegations, and 14 days for corporate events in the garden area.
Its FAQ says a ticket is valid for the booked date only, and that one e-ticket admits one person, so printing the same reference twice does not admit two people. The venue strongly suggests booking ahead, especially at weekends. We do not sell tickets, and we are not the Frame’s transport provider. Tickets and group requests go through the venue.
One more line matters to a tour leader. The FAQ says a private guide can be booked “currently only for school trips”. So an adult group should not count on a venue guide. If you want commentary, a guide has to come from you, and our licensed guides guide explains why a driver is not one.

Get a quoteThe visit, hours and the bag counter
The Frame describes a visit in three parts: an Old Dubai gallery, a glass-fronted lift to the bridge, and a Future Dubai gallery. The Arabic home page gives the bridge height as 150 metres. It lists opening every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. It adds that times may change in Ramadan, on holidays and on public holidays. Check the venue’s current notice before you fix a time.
Bags are where a group can lose minutes. The Frame says personal handbags can go up to the top, while shopping bags, sports bags and backpacks must go to the baggage check room. Large bags and strollers are kept at the Gate 4 counter. It also says no food or drink inside, no pets, and children under 12 must be with an adult. Tell the group before the vehicle arrives, so that nobody is repacking on the pavement.
The Frame asks visitors to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. For a group, plan longer than that, because a group of 30 does not walk through one gate as fast as one person does. The venue gives no figure for a group, and we will not invent one.
How far it is
These are modelled drive times from our routing model, built on OpenStreetMap data (OSRM, run on 31 October 2026), with no traffic and no stops. The end point is a map point at the Frame, not a gate, so add a few minutes for the park roads.
| From | Distance | Modelled drive time, no traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai Airport (DXB) | About 18.3 km | About 31 minutes |
| Downtown Dubai | About 6.8 km | About 9 minutes |
| Deira | About 7.0 km | About 10 minutes |
| Dubai Marina | About 29.1 km | About 28 minutes |
| Palm Jumeirah (Atlantis end) | About 29.7 km | About 30 minutes |
| Al Fahidi (Old Dubai) | About 5.5 km | About 8 minutes |
| Etihad Museum | About 5.9 km | About 8 minutes |
| The Dubai Mall | About 7.4 km | About 10 minutes |
Allow more at busy hours, on weekends and on public holidays.
What is not published
We found no coach drop-off point, no coach parking and no rule about vehicles at Gate 4 on the Frame’s site. We cannot promise a stop at the gate. We agree a drop-off point and a collection point with you, and the quote states the arrangement. Ask the venue about vehicles when you send your group request, and tell us what it says.
The Frame says you can reach Zabeel Park by Metro and names the station as Al Jafiliya. Another operator in the same park uses a different station name, which looks like a renaming, so check the current name on the RTA map. Our guide to wayfinding changes and station names is the place to start. For a group that must stay together, our Metro and coach guide explains which parts of a day suit each.
The Frame also lists a 24-hour helpline. Use it for venue questions.
The garden next door
Dubai Garden Glow says on its own site that it is next to Dubai Frame at Zabeel Park Gate 3, open from 4 PM to 9 PM every day, and that both of its parks take about two hours. If your group wants an evening add-on after the Frame, that gives a window, but it is a separate venue with its own tickets, and we found no group text on it. Check its notice before you plan.
Planning the day
The Frame is a short visit, so it works as one stop in a longer day. Here is an example sum, not a promise. A group staying in Downtown Dubai, about nine modelled minutes away, books a venue time of 10:00. Allow 15 minutes at the gate for bags and the counter, so be at the door by 9:45, and plan the vehicle to leave the hotel about 9:15 to keep a margin. After the visit, Al Fahidi is about eight modelled minutes away, so the Frame pairs well with our Old Dubai half day. For a wider route, see the private minibus city tour, or add a shopping stop with the Dubai Mall day.
Your hotel, group size and the day will change the sum. Agree one pick-up time with the group in writing.
Choosing the vehicle
Count passengers first and bags second. A group that must leave backpacks at the counter still has to carry them from the hotel to the Frame. Our guide figures:
- Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers and 6 bags.
- 13-seater HiAce: up to 13 passengers and about 10 suitcases.
- Mercedes Sprinter: up to 16 passengers and up to 12 suitcases.
- 30-seater mini coach and 50-seater coach for school groups and tour parties.
How a booked vehicle fits
- Send the plan. Date, hotel area, party size and the venue time the Frame gives you.
- Ask for a fixed written quote. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Read the pick-up and drop-off arrangement. The quote states it, and we update it if the venue publishes one.
- Agree the return time. We plan the margin and tell you what is not yet published.
- Tell us if plans change. We adjust a quote if dates change, and we cannot promise to beat traffic.
