A Mercedes Sprinter carries up to sixteen guests with standing headroom and a chauffeur-grade finish. It suits small delegations and executive teams. It also has limits on luggage, which is where most planning mistakes happen.
Your reference
The Sprinter is the vehicle a company books when 10 to 16 people need to arrive together and look the part. A government delegation. A board and its advisers. A film crew with a client. A sports federation’s travelling party. The cabin is tall enough to stand in, the seats are leather, and the vehicle does not look like public transport.
It is a chauffeur vehicle, not a budget one. The starting price of AED 2,450 per day is higher than a 13-seater van at AED 900 and higher than a mini coach at AED 1,100. You pay for the finish, the headroom and the way it arrives at a hotel entrance. If the group does not need that, the cheaper vehicles do the same job. See the Sprinter fleet page for the vehicle.
Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.
Get my price| Vehicle | Seats | Bags | Starting price | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13-seater van | 13 | About 10 | From AED 900 per day | Practical, high roof |
| Mercedes Sprinter | Up to 16 | About 12 | From AED 2,450 per day | VIP finish, standing headroom |
| Mini coach | 22 to 30 | About 20 | From AED 1,100 per day | Capacity first |
Read the table carefully. If you care about price and have 14 guests with day bags, the mini coach costs less than the Sprinter and has more room. The Sprinter earns its price when presentation, a smaller footprint at the hotel door or a lounge-style cabin matters more than the cost per seat.
About 12 medium suitcases fit. Sixteen seats and twelve cases is a normal Sprinter job on a day trip, because day bags are small. On an airport transfer with 14 guests and 14 suitcases, it is two bags short before anyone has hand luggage.
The sensible fix is to count bags before picking the vehicle. For a delegation with large cases, plan a Sprinter for the people and a second vehicle for the cargo, or reduce the seated number. A Sprinter with 11 guests and 12 cases is comfortable. A Sprinter with 16 guests and 16 cases is not.
Golf bags, instrument cases, camera kit and trade-show boxes all use floor space. Send sizes and we answer plainly in the quote.
Some Sprinters are fitted with a lounge layout: fewer seats, more space, sometimes facing seating. That changes the maths. A VIP layout may seat 10 or 12, not 16. If your group wants that style, ask for it at the quote stage, with the exact headcount, and we confirm what is available for your dates.
We do not promise a specific interior until the quote says so, because vehicles differ. Photos on the fleet page show the style, and the quote names what will arrive.
A delegation of twelve from abroad has fixed points. Airport arrival. Hotel check-in. A formal meeting or two. A dinner. The Sprinter does the lot with one driver, and that driver learns the group’s pace by the second morning.
Agree one meeting point per day and one person to call. Delegations tend to have an adviser, an assistant and a protocol officer all with views. The driver needs one name.
If a senior guest travels separately, add an executive sedan or a luxury SUV on the same quote. The Sprinter then follows with the team and the bags.
An example, not a promise of a timetable. Eleven people from an overseas partner company land at DXB at 07:30 on one flight with eleven suitcases.
One Sprinter, starting from AED 2,450 per day within Dubai, with tolls, parking and waiting set out in the written quote. The airport run is quoted as a transfer, and the quote shows both parts. The DXB arrivals guide explains what happens in the hall.
The Sprinter is far easier than a coach for hotel porte-cochères, office towers and DIFC-style drop-offs. It is tall, so underground car parks with low ceilings may not take it. The driver uses the loading area or a permitted bay, and tells you where to meet on the way back.
Give us the address of every stop. For towers with strict rules, we check the arrangements in advance.
The starting price is for a full day of up to 10 hours within Dubai with driver and fuel. Shorter jobs are priced by the hour from a minimum, and one-way airport runs are priced per trip. Your written quote confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours. All starting figures are on the price page.
Seating in a small vehicle is a matter of protocol as much as comfort. Who sits at the front, who sits behind the driver, and who gets the seat by the sliding door? Delegations often have strong views. Agree a seating order before the first move, and give it to the group leader. The driver follows what the leader says.
If the team includes a senior guest and a junior one, the senior guest will usually take the seat with the most room. Offer a second vehicle if you want to give a principal more space than a shared cabin allows.
The first morning sets the tone. The driver is at the lobby ten minutes before the agreed time with the air-conditioning on. The group leader confirms the headcount. Bags go in before people do. If the team is a few minutes late, the driver waits and tells the leader the time lost, because the next stop may care.
A delegation that departs on time on day one tends to leave on time on day three. A delegation that leaves twenty minutes late on day one finds the schedule slipping every morning.
Booking it for sixteen people with sixteen suitcases. Assuming a Sprinter can enter every underground car park, when height limits often rule it out. Counting the guide as a guest after the headcount was fixed. Forgetting that a lounge layout has fewer seats. And treating the starting price as the final figure for a day that ends after midnight.
Each of these is easy to fix before the quote and awkward to fix on the day. Send us the real numbers and the real timings, and ask us to point out the weak spots.
More than sixteen, or sixteen with heavy luggage, point to the 30 seater. For a precise count of twenty, the 20 people page compares options. Ready to ask for a price? Use the booking page with the headcount and bag count.
