Event guide

A dental week, planned by the hour.

AEEDC Dubai runs from 19 to 21 January 2027 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with courses and conferences spread over several halls and a hotel next door. For a dentist, a practice group or a dental-supply team travelling from abroad, the week has more moving parts than the opening hours suggest. Here is what the organiser publishes and how to plan the daily run.

The event

AEEDC Dubai is listed by the organiser and by the Dubai World Trade Centre for 19 to 21 January 2027. The DWTC page marks the audience as trade only, and the organiser is Index Conferences and Exhibitions. We do not print an edition number or visitor numbers, because the sources disagree. We are not the organiser’s transport provider and not a partner of the show. If its notices and ours differ, follow the organiser.

Everyone registers online before travelling. Entry is by e-badge in the AEEDC app, and badges are not transferable, so each member of a delegation needs their own. That is the organiser’s rule, and it matters for a group transfer: nobody can arrive on a colleague’s badge.

Hours and halls

DayExhibition hours, as published
Tuesday 19 January10:00 to 18:00
Wednesday 20 January10:00 to 18:00
Thursday 21 January10:00 to 16:00

The exhibition fills Halls 1 to 8, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 to 3 and the Trade Centre Arena. The conference runs in six halls: A, B and C inside Sheikh Maktoum Hall, and D, E and F inside Sheikh Rashid Hall. A day can therefore mean walking between buildings inside the centre, which is worth knowing when you agree a pick-up time.

The courses around it

Several related events sit before and after the main days. The organiser lists the World Orthodontic Conference on 19 and 20 January and the World Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Conference from 19 to 21 January. The Dubai World Dental Meeting pre-conference runs from 16 to 18 January, with courses at the Novotel at the Dubai World Trade Centre and at the centre itself. Advanced Specialty Courses run from 19 to 21 January at the Novotel, and a Special Post-AEEDC Series runs on 22 January at the same hotel.

So a delegate may split the day between the centre and the Novotel next door. We do not call any hotel the nearest, and we make no claim about courses. We tell you only that the venues differ, so a vehicle plan that names just “the DWTC” may miss one of them. Give us the venue for each day when you ask for a quote.

The weeks around it

The week before is busy. Intersec runs from 12 to 14 January, and the Dubai Marathon runs on Sunday 17 January, which closes roads in the morning in the city. If your delegation arrives for the pre-conference on 16 January, plan the arrival day around the marathon. See our Intersec delegation guide and Dubai Marathon guide. WHX Dubai follows from 25 to 28 January, covered in our WHX visitor guide.

Planning the daily run

A common plan is one departure from the hotel each morning, with a time the group agrees in writing, and one collection point and time in the evening. We found no coach drop-off point for AEEDC, so we agree one with you once the organiser or the centre publishes it, and we cannot promise a stop at the entrance. For the centre in general, see event transport to the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Many delegations from Europe, the USA and Australia fly in the day before. Allow for the drive from the airport to the hotel and for the first morning’s registration. See DXB terminals for group leaders for the airport end. Your written quote states the meeting arrangement for your terminal.

Choosing the vehicle

Our guide figures:

Dental teams carry equipment cases and sample boxes as well as suitcases. Tell us the number and size, and we confirm what fits.

How a booked vehicle fits

  1. Send the plan. Dates, flights, hotel area, party size and the venue for each day.
  2. Ask for a fixed written quote. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
  3. Read the pick-up and drop-off arrangement. The quote states it, and we update it when the organiser publishes its notices.
  4. Agree the return times. We plan the margin and tell you what is not yet published.
  5. Tell us if plans change. We adjust where we can, and cannot promise to beat traffic.
