If a team of 15 to 50 lands in the morning and has a meeting at 2 pm, the transfer has to be planned back from the meeting. Business Bay and DIFC are close to the airport on a map and slower than they look at the wrong hour.
Your reference
Corporate groups do not plan from the flight. They plan from the first meeting. If the meeting is at 14:00 at a DIFC tower, the question is what time the group has to be at the kerb, and from that, how late the flight can land. Work it out in this order: meeting start, minus a buffer for security and the lift, minus the drive, minus the hotel stop, minus the airport time.
Business Bay and DIFC are among the nearest business districts to DXB, and the drive is often about 15 to 25 minutes outside the peaks. For a group of 30, the airport side is the slow part: immigration, bags and loading can take 90 minutes or more. Our big group arrival guide covers that side. The DXB to Downtown page covers the neighbouring district.
Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.
Get my priceThe weekday morning rush, roughly 7 am to 9:30 am, is when Business Bay and DIFC are hardest to reach, because everyone else is heading for the same offices. The roads that connect the city centre are slow and the last kilometre to a tower can be the longest. Expect 30 to 45 minutes where the same drive is 15 to 25 at midday.
The evening rush, from about 4:30 pm to 8 pm, runs the other way, as people leave the offices. A group leaving a meeting in DIFC for the airport at 5 pm should allow far more than the map suggests. Our advice is to leave for the airport earlier than seems necessary, because a missed check-in costs more than an extra half hour of waiting.
Most towers have a drop-off bay at the front, a basement car park or a podium entrance. A mini coach or a van can usually use the bay. A full-size coach often cannot enter a basement and may need to stop on the road or in a nearby coach parking area. Send us the exact tower name, the entrance and the contact person at reception, and we plan around it.
DIFC has its own entrances and security. The DIFC chauffeur service page covers smaller parties. For groups, ask the host company for the visitor access rules, since vehicles may need to be registered in advance.
| Group | Vehicle | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| 5 to 7 | Mercedes V-Class | From AED 1,150 per day |
| 8 to 13 | 13-seater van | From AED 900 per day |
| 14 to 16 | Mercedes Sprinter | From AED 2,450 per day |
| 17 to 30 | Mini coach | From AED 1,100 per day |
| 31 to 50 | 50-seater coach | From AED 1,450 per day |
Starting prices are day rates for up to 10 hours with driver and fuel. A one-way transfer is a separate line on your written quote, which confirms the exact price for your date, route and hours. For senior guests who prefer a car, the executive sedan or luxury SUV can travel alongside.
A team of 20 lands at 06:30. The group is out of arrivals by 08:00, which is the start of the peak. A mini coach goes straight to a Business Bay hotel, 35 to 45 minutes in the traffic. Bags are left with the bell desk. At 12:30 the coach collects the team for a 14:00 meeting in DIFC, with a buffer for the lift and security. The coach waits and brings them back to the hotel at 18:00, outside the worst of the evening rush.
If your team will move between the hotel and the meeting venue several times a day, ask for a shuttle loop. One vehicle runs the same route at set times, and the hourly rate keeps the cost clear: the 13-seater van is from AED 120 per hour, the Sprinter from AED 325 per hour, the mini coach from AED 145 per hour and the 50-seater from AED 195 per hour, with the minimum hours confirmed on your written quote.
The model is the same as for large exhibitions. See GITEX hotel shuttles and staff transport for how we set up loops.
Corporate groups often add a dinner, a site visit or a day trip. Put the arrival, the meeting days and the departure in one request and the quote lists each. For a day in Abu Dhabi, see Abu Dhabi transfers. For airport arrivals, see group airport transfers.
If the group stays near the beach instead, see DXB to Dubai Marina. For hotels near the creek, see DXB to Deira and Bur Dubai.
Send the tower or hotel name, the meeting time, flights, headcount and bag count. We reply with a fixed written quote. Starting rates are on the price page. When you are ready, ask for a fixed written quote.
