The family chooses one organiser

Every reunion has one person who ends up doing the planning, often a cousin with a spreadsheet. Make it official. We take requests from one organiser and send the quote, the driver’s details and any changes to that person. They share them with the rest of the family. It saves us from five versions of the same plan.

The organiser sends us a table: who arrives, which flight, which hotel or apartment, how many bags. A simple sheet is enough.

Prices depend on the date and group size. Get yours in a minute.

Arrival day: waves, not a single pickup

Relatives land across a day or two. Some come from India, some from the UK or the US and some from the Gulf. Group arrivals within about an hour of each other can share a Sprinter or a 13-seater van. A driver with a name board waits in the hall.

For larger numbers landing together, see the big group arrival guide. The luggage matters more than the headcount: a family of ten might bring eighteen suitcases. We ask for the bag count so the vehicle is chosen for both.

Mixed ages: who sits where

On a reunion bus there are babies in car seats, teenagers who want the back row and grandparents who need an easy step. Put grandparents near the door. Keep families with small children together, close to the front, where the ride is smoother.

Child seats are a specific request. Tell us the number and ages of children, and we say what we can supply. Rules for child seats vary, so check with us when you ask for the quote and we will confirm in writing.

The shared day out

Most reunions have one day when everyone goes out together, perhaps a city day, a trip to Abu Dhabi or a meal at a waterfront restaurant. A 50-seater or two smaller vehicles carries the whole family on that day.

Starting prices cover a full day of up to 10 hours with driver and fuel. Your written quote confirms the exact price. For the Abu Dhabi option, read the Abu Dhabi transfer page, and for a rest day closer to home, the family holiday guide.

A cost example

This is an example only. A family of 44 with a day out in Abu Dhabi, about 1.5 hours each way, travels in one 50-seater coach. At the starting rate that is from AED 1,450 for the day, so the cost per person is roughly AED 33 before any extras the quote lists. The real figure depends on the route, the hours and the tolls. Divide your quote by the number of adults who share the cost.

Late evening and the meal

Reunion dinners run long. Children get tired and the coach is the place for a nap. Agree a plan for the return: an early run for families with small children, a late one for everyone else. Alternatively, one coach waits and everyone leaves together. We can quote both. The driver follows the organiser’s instruction.

Bags, buggies and the little things

Strollers and folded buggies go in the hold with the bags. Count them. A coach has space for roughly one medium suitcase per passenger, but a buggy takes the space of two bags. Ask for a bag-friendly vehicle if the party is travelling heavy. If relatives are also leaving the same day, plan the airport run with the same care as the arrival.

Splitting the family across two vehicles

It is often easier to run two vehicles, one for older relatives and one for younger ones, rather than one huge coach. Two vehicles reach different places and let the party move at two speeds. Ask for both on one quote and we plan the pickups together.

Booking a reunion

Ask for a fixed written quote on the booking page. Mention the dates, the number of adults and children, the hotels, the flights and how many bags. For a reunion that includes a faith gathering see the faith group page, and for older relatives only, the senior group page. The price page lists the starting rates. We do not sell tours, tickets, visas or hotel rooms.

Frequently asked.

Quick answers for this trip.

Can one vehicle collect relatives from several flights?

If the flights land close together, yes. Send each flight number. For gaps of more than a couple of hours we suggest a second pickup.

Do you supply child seats?

Tell us the number and ages of the children when you ask for a quote and we will say what we can provide.

What if we are 55 people?

One 50-seater coach is not enough. A coach plus a 13-seater van seats 63, and both go on one quote.

How much does it cost?

Starting prices are AED 900 per day for a 13-seater van, AED 1,100 for a mini coach and AED 1,450 for a 50-seater coach, for up to 10 hours with driver and fuel. The written quote confirms the exact price.

How much luggage can we bring?

A coach holds about one medium suitcase per passenger. Send the bag count and we check it against the vehicle.

Can the coach wait while we have lunch?

Yes. Waiting is part of the booked hours.

Can we use the same driver all week?

Put all the days in one request and ask for the same driver. We do our best.

Can older relatives get on easily?

A mini coach has a lower entry than a full coach. Tell us about mobility needs and we plan the boarding.

Do you give visa advice?

No. Check the official ICP and GDRFA sites.

Send the family list. We’ll size the vehicles.
