Your honeymoon arrival, with a chauffeur.
After a long flight you want one thing: someone who already knows your name, your hotel and your bags. This is how a chauffeur arrival works for two people, which of our cars fits, and what we cannot promise.

The first hour, step by step
Most guides to a Dubai honeymoon start at the hotel. This one starts at the airport, because the first hour sets the mood for the rest of the trip.
You send us the flight number. We track it, so an early landing or a late one moves the pick-up. You do not need to message the driver when you land. The chauffeur waits in the public arrivals hall, past customs, in uniform, holding a name board with your name on it. The Rolls-Royce chauffeur wears formal uniform.
From there the chauffeur takes the trolley and walks you to the car. At Dubai International, pre-booked cars generally cannot wait at the arrivals kerb, so the car is a short walk away in the terminal car park. It is cooled before you reach it, with chilled water and phone chargers on board. Before moving off, the chauffeur asks if you would like music, the radio or quiet.
At the hotel, the chauffeur opens the door, carries the luggage to the entrance and hands it to the porter. Our guide to meeting your driver at DXB covers each terminal in more detail.

Get a quoteFrom the aircraft to the car
The clock does not start at touchdown. Allow 30 to 60 minutes from landing to walking out of customs, and longer in the busiest waves of the night. Eligible passengers can use the smart gates at immigration. First-time visitors usually use the staffed desks.
The chauffeur cannot meet you at the aircraft door. The airport offers its own meet-and-assist services airside, which you can book separately, and the chauffeur then meets you in the hall. We do not arrange anything through immigration ourselves. If a bag goes missing, tell us and we plan around it.
Check the terminal on your ticket. Terminal 2 is on the far side of the airfield from Terminals 1 and 3, around 15 to 20 minutes by road. Give us the flight number and we confirm the terminal before the chauffeur sets off.
Which car for two people
Seats are passenger seats and bags are medium suitcases. Honeymoon luggage is the part people forget: two big cases, two carry-ons and a duty-free bag is a normal load.
| Car | Seats and bags | What it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Executive sedan (S-Class or similar) | 4 seats, 3 bags | A couple with two large cases and carry-ons. Privacy glass, rear climate control |
| Luxury SUV (Escalade, Yukon or Tahoe) | 6 seats, 5 bags | A couple with a lot of luggage, or two couples travelling together |
| Rolls-Royce (Cullinan or Ghost, or similar) | 4 seats, 2 bags | A couple travelling light, where the car is part of the arrival |
The Rolls-Royce has the smallest luggage space of any car we run, so check it against your cases. If you want it but have more bags than it holds, we add a second vehicle, usually an executive sedan or a V-Class. It follows directly behind and delivers the bags to your hotel at the same time. One quote covers both. Our page on the Rolls-Royce airport transfer has the detail, and the guide to 2 to 6 passengers compares the smaller cars.
Cullinan or Ghost
We offer the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Ghost, or a similar model, and we confirm the exact car on your quote. The Cullinan is the taller of the two, an SUV with a raised seating position that some guests find easier to step in and out of after a long flight. The Ghost is a long, low saloon, and many people prefer its look on arrival. Both seat up to four guests and have rear-hinged coach doors.
Details such as the starlight headliner depend on the model. If one detail matters to you, say so when you ask for the quote and we confirm in writing whether we can assign it. If your first choice is not free on your date, we tell you at once and suggest the closest alternative.
What the chauffeur will and will not do
The chauffeur drives, handles the doors and the bags, and keeps the cabin the way you want it, quiet or not. Conversations in the car stay in the car. A quiet ride with no small talk unless you start it is a normal request. Put it in the notes.
The chauffeur is not a tour guide and does not plan your trip. The same goes for us. We provide the vehicle and the driver. You book your own hotel, restaurants and any tickets.
We also do not promise extras that we cannot confirm. If you want something particular in the car or at the hotel entrance, tell us what it is. We confirm in your written quote what we can arrange, and say plainly when we cannot. A stop on the way, such as a pharmacy or a florist, can go on the booking too. Our page on extra stops on a Dubai airport transfer explains how a stop appears on the quote.
Tipping is not expected, and gratuities are never added to our quotes. See the guide to chauffeur etiquette and tipping in Dubai if you want to know more.
How long to the hotel
Planning figures outside the rush hours, from DXB:
- Downtown Dubai and DIFC: around 15 to 25 minutes.
- Dubai Marina and JBR: around 35 to 45 minutes.
- Palm Jumeirah: around 35 to 45 minutes, plus a few minutes on the Palm itself.
After 10 pm the Downtown run is around 15 to 20 minutes. Many long-haul flights land at night, when the roads are quiet. For the Palm in the weekday peaks, plan on an hour or more. The routes are on our DXB to Downtown Dubai and DXB to Palm Jumeirah pages. For other hotels, tell us the name and we confirm the time in your written quote.
Landing before the room is ready
Many hotels do not hand over rooms until the afternoon, and a dawn landing leaves a tired couple in a lobby. Ask the hotel for early check-in, or at least bag storage, before you fly, and get the answer in writing.
If the hotel says no, book the car by the hour, or for the day, so the luggage stays on board while you have breakfast or see a little of the city. Our chauffeur by the hour service starts from four hours within Dubai. Then the chauffeur drops you at the hotel when the room is ready.
Booking for each other, and the whole stay
You can book the car for your partner or for parents who are visiting. The name board shows the guest’s name, the confirmation comes to you, and the chauffeur has your instructions, such as a particular hotel entrance.
For a stay of several days, ask in the notes and we do our best to keep the same chauffeur and car throughout, including the run back to the airport. See our chauffeur service in Dubai page for the standard on every booking.
What to send us
- The flight number and, if you know it, the terminal.
- The hotel’s full name and area.
- Two people, and a count of checked bags and carry-ons.
- Your preferred car, if any. We confirm the model in writing.
Use the booking page. Ask for a fixed written quote. It lists the car, airport parking, tolls and the waiting allowance, and nothing is charged until you accept.

Frequently asked.
Quick answers for this trip.
Which car is best for a honeymoon couple?
The executive sedan suits two people with two large cases and carry-ons. The luxury SUV takes more luggage. The Rolls-Royce suits a couple travelling light, with two bags. Count your bags first, then choose.
Will the chauffeur know our flight?
Yes. We track every flight, so an early or late landing moves the pick-up. Airline delays do not count against the waiting allowance on your quote.
Can the driver meet us at the aircraft door or take us through immigration?
No. The chauffeur waits in the public arrivals hall after customs. The airport offers its own meet-and-assist services airside, which you can book separately.
Can you add anything special to the car?
Tell us what you have in mind. We confirm in your written quote what we can arrange, and we say so plainly if we cannot. We do not promise anything before we have confirmed it in writing.
What if we have too many bags for the Rolls-Royce?
It holds two medium suitcases. We add a second vehicle that follows directly behind and arrives at your hotel at the same time. Both sit on one quote.
Can we book it for a surprise?
Yes. Book in your own name and add your partner’s name and flight number. The name board shows the guest’s name and the confirmation comes to you.
Do you book the hotel or arrange tickets?
No. We provide the car and the chauffeur. You book your own hotel and any tickets.
How do we get a price?
Ask for a fixed written quote on the booking page. It depends on the car, the hotel and the date. We do not put a figure on this page.
